Kids a player. I see him having a role to play with us next season. He's too good for the Championship

      Seen his goal?

Top corner with his left foot from about 25 yards out.

Your dad is dead on. He looks like he can play anywhere in the mid and he has a cracking shot at distance. Weak foot banger. Good on set pieces too

Other than Liverpool, I watch no prem games. I love the Championship. My favorite league. In the States we get 4 or 5 games a week on ESPN+.

      ESPN+ is actually great value.

You get the Championship, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, NHL, tennis grand slams, etc for a few dollars a month.

Got to admit been enjoying a fewer of the lower league 2 and National league stuff, some decent footy without all the prem level bullshit.

I caught maybe 4 or 5 of their games last season. Whilst he's very good on the ball and has an eye for a pass, he looked a bit slow and not the most robust in the challenges....& that's playing at a level well below the Prem, so I do worry about where his future lies.

Not sure it’d be a wise move purely because I don’t think he’s ready for a Leverkusen, I get Fabio at Leipzig vibes that it wouldn’t work out pretty early.

I think it would be a good move this kid has potential.  Yes it is a big step from the championship but if he is up for the challenge then why turn down the opportunity to be coached by a top coach.  Fabio for me is a different situation he was one of them that wanted to climb the ladder to fast wanted it quick wrong mentality.

Yeah need to learn from Carvalho and tell Xabi thanks but no thanks.

If he’s not in our plans for this season then he needs to go somewhere to play regularly so we can sell him on next season for a decent fee.

Not sure why some wouldn’t see it as a good move

He gets a chance to play in a top league for a manager who was one of the best CM’s for years

Seems a great move to make

      Pretty much.

It seems strange why Leverkusen would be in for him when they have Xhaka Andrich Palacios Adli Hofmann.

His playing time would be limited.

Hes 22 in October, this would be his 3rd season being loaned out

At that age and that l9an eate I think the club dont think hes up to it so why not sell?

Bajetic, though im against it, at least as reason to the loan. Mortons doesnt. He wont come back at 23 and all of a sudden be a first 11 player

Can only assume no one's come in with an offer to take him permanently.

From reports earlier this summer we've put a 20m valuation on him.

If we've let Sepp and Fabio go then I don't see him sticking around much longer.

Not done it in a top tier league or evidence of it but then again neither has Carvalho we did so well out of that deal. Morton just short for me.lacks the pace and energy for that role. 12-15m would.be more realistic
