I just have the view that a youngster who’s had no involvement with the first team all season, starting a game against players of this calibre, it’s always going to be much harder for them. Especially a player that’s as slow as Koumetio up against a quick attack. Personally would’ve preferred to have seen Konate start and then go off at some stage for Koumetio instead of throwing him straight into the deep end.

The Premier League better get their act together as regards Covid postponements, there should be a clear set of guidelines re Covid, it seems at the minute certain teams are able to get matches postponed while others have to play on regardless! Can only be a matter of time until a team challenges it in court!
