It’s hard not to get excited by this player! Looks like Edwards and the team have bagged yet another stunning bargain. I really am in awe at the strength of our recruitment, it’s off the charts

Apparently this one was led by Julian Ward, which if that is the case, then it looks like we could have what will hopefully be the ideal replacement for Edwards.

Very promising start to his career with us and his opening goal for us was expertly taken. His movement, workrate and use of the ball looks very impressive. The biggest challenge for him I think will be not playiong every week, whether he has that mindset that Jota had when he arrived, knowing that there is every chance he could spend a game or 2 on the bench but making sure that when he plays he gives the manager a massive selection headache. But like I say, a very promising start and whilst it's not ideal for the team in general to currently be without Jota and Bobby due to injury, it hands Diaz a brilliant oppurtunity to really show what he can do and stake a claim to be first choice right from the start.

Feels like Díaz can play down the middle (like Jota), with Mane and Salah in the wide areas.

That could be the set up for the final this weekend

We always get cautioned about players needing bedded in with Klopp’s way of thinking, this kid looks like he’s been here for years already. What a signing.

What a signing and more importantly what a time to sign him. His finish was exquisite.

We've got Thiago with the no look passes, Bobby with the no look shooting and now Diaz with the no look crossing -

Was unlucky not to bag yesterday. His effort inadvertantly blocked from range by Sadio was heading right for the postage stamp

Neither had pace though, Diaz is impressively quick.
He actually very much reminds me of Sadio in his early years with us.

What a fookin signing this lad is already proving to be!!!!! The way he cuts that ball back on to his right foot, it's exceptional. He goes from hundred mile an hour to a stop in a blink of an eye and can chop the ball with the outside of his right or a little cruyff with the left. So impressive. Added to which he is strong, runs all day, works his feckin arse off and doesn't mind being kick or doing the kicking. Wait till he gets properly comfortable and settled in.

He could be the difference in winning the league this year. Certainly a good buy on first looks.
