No one is forcing people to buy kits though so who cares how often they change them?
Some people will complain we don’t spend enough on transfers and then they’ll also complain that stuff like kits cost too much….always wondered where we are supposed to make our money if we are to sell our tickets and kits cheap.
Of course no one is forcing people to buy kits but it’s a market isn’t it, people, especially kids want the latest kits and it leads to people spending money on them.
I couldn’t give the slightest damn how much we spend on transfers, I’m more interested in signing the right player rather than a big money profile, makes no odds to me if we pay 4mill or 40mill for a player.
We make a large amount of money through TV money so I don’t buy the whole tickets/shirts angle there, why do you think there was so much uproar when they tried to up the price of tickets a few years ago and so many people disagreeing with it.
When I was a kid/teen, I’d get all 3 kits every season and they were £30-£40 each. Key thing is finding the right balance and if you think £70+ (Or £210+ if you were to get all 3) for a football shirt that will be changed 10 months later is well balanced then that’s up to you, we all make our own judgements. Club would probably sell more shirts if they were say £50 each and in turn likely make more money because with the cost of living being so high now, less people will be able to afford them at £70 each.
