      The opposite actually.

This was meant to be the 1230 KO on Boxing Day on BT so f**k knows why it’s not on TV now.
Think Sky can't show league games same time as BT have CL on.

Would u rather put up your srongest 11 for Leeds or for the final vs. Chelsea? As an everlasting Caraboa-Skeptic I'd easily choose Leeds and rotate heavily against Chelsea, and there's a decent chance since the latest developments of the weekend that many could agree with me, but do they?

Play strong teams in both games.

BT originally would have had the game on, meaning Sky will not be showing it.

Whole reason game isn't on is because of BT's Champions League coverage.

Just go full strength, secure the three points.
Then go full strength and win the cup.
Make changes when you see players looking tired.

Make changes when necessary, not just because you can.

Saw the difference at Norwich first and second half.

Can’t afford to under estimate anyone now.

Strongest possible X1 against Leeds, need to keep the pressure on Citeh, dropping points hands the initiative back to them, getting that gap down to three points is a massive psychological boost for us, and if we can keep it like that and continue winning every single game even better, if they drop more points then by the time we meet in April they’ll be mentally shot, that’s how I’d like  it to play out, breathing down their f***in necks and them knowing one mistake hands us the title, we’re not called the mentality monsters for nothing,

there isn’t much between us, however, if it comes down to having to win every single game until the seasons end I’d back us to do exactly that, even if we held a lead, City would  crack imo, because they don’t have as strong a mentality as we do, Let’s Do This !!

Can’t believe this is a discussion - full strength against Leeds, it’s an absolutely critical game even in a season of critical games.

Worry about Sunday once Leeds are out the way.

      Aye, 3 points bagged

Sunday we can start Origi, Konate, Jones, Milner, Bobby or anyone else, once we put the pressure on city by 10pm Wednesday

Jesus Christ you think we wouldn't be playing a team who average conceding 3 goals a game over last 10 games at home and a final on Sunday against the current world champions but not able to rest a couple before  hand

Agree that's our current strongest XI, except maybe Konate for Matip but that's a toss up.
So would be surprised if he starts that against Leeds if it's what he'll start in the League Cup final.
But who knows, Jürgen can be hard to predict.

Every game though in the PL we need to win, also need to stay in the CL, maybe get silverware Sunday and on it goes.
Can't keep playing our strongest side, so would think he'll rotate a bit for Leeds. Maybe :)

      I'd go:

      Ali
      Robbo
      Virj
      Konate
      Trent
      Hendo
      Keita
      Harvey
      Mane
      Origi
      Minamino

Keita and Harvey are the most important players for me here. Leds will press like monsters and both players are very good at the quick give and go. Origi is actually good at holding the ball and feeding players around him so he seems perfect against Leeds.

I think Jürgen Klopp still has one or two options, he will be able to field strong sides against Leeds tomorrow night and Chelsea at the weekend. Obviously important to see off Leeds tomorrow night, giving City something to think about. Then on to Wembley on Sunday hopefully to pick up some well earned silverware !

We already know Kelleher will play the final, and I think he’ll play Konate next to Virgil too, other shoe ins are Trent & Robbo, Fabinho, Thiago, Mo, Mane, the other positions are up for grabs, but I can see Harvey featuring whether that’s at the get go or off the timber remains to be seen, as with Jota if fit I think he’ll start but come off the bench V Leeds, so we could see something like this against Chavs…..

                                        Kelleher
                        Trent.  Konate.   Virgil.  Robbo
                                        Fabinho
                            Elliot.                  Thiago
                           Salah.        Jota.      Mane

Looking at it on paper we look light in midfield so it’s likely Hendo starts instead of Harvey, I’d be surprised if Bobby, Diaz or Naby starts although Naby is a possibility, it’s a good thing having to think who you would play instead of it being a formality, the options off the bench could be pivotal and the difference between us, we have a very strong squad @ 99.9% fit, anyhoo that’s a debate we can all have from Thursday, let’s batter the tykes first and compound the pressure  on Citeh  !!

Regardless of who people think our best XI are we cannot just put those same XI out every single game the rest of the season simply because it's a critical game.

Jürgen and the medical team will decide best times to rotate and i trust Jürgen to make the best use of what is probably the most talented squad he has ever managed.
