Yup, Kelleher will easily get 20+ games a season....
Everywhere after Liverpool is a downgrade anyway....

How many did he get last season when Alisson didn't get hurt?

why not? Arsenal have 2 keepers,  why can't we?

Because I suspect he would want to be a 1st choice keeper. I’d be a little surprised if he lacked that level of ambition.

The saves this lad has in his repertoire. Wowieeeeee.... Amazing feet, great hands and just like Ali, knows how to make himself big in front of an attacker coming at him.

      Don't let him leave.

We just need to win trophies and with involvement so far especially at present think he stays.   As long as we are delivering trophies we have him with us.   Think the season we don't quite deliver on the trophies he leaves unfortunately, he is just too good to be no.2 without major trophies.   That said his international manager like every summer will be there telling him to move on like always.

This lad certainly deserves a pay rise, if the team can win trophies, Kelleher should be a key figure in the squad.

Bit surprised to see some questions about him against Utd, for me didn't have a chance with either goal and played well otherwise.
Has filled in really really well while Ally's been out.

Didn't have anything to do bar picking the ball out the net twice.

He has done far better filling in for Ali they I ever thought he would, so far play to him.

Gutted for him that he won't get the winner's medal he earned, after massively contributing to the 26 points we won from 10 games, but he can be proud that he had an unbeaten league record, keeping the title race alive, finally beating Forest away from home, and adding to our trophy cabinet. Imagine what he could do with a full season in goal?

Sure he could move on, but he won't get the chance to win a league at Wolves, or Brentford, or Brighton, the way he would here. If he stays on, there's no reason why he can't be the undisputed no. 1 down the line, and finally get the medal he deserves.

Yet was poor in the FA QF that we lost which may well have been the start of the poor run of form

Such a priggish comment. No goalkeeper can ever, ever be the catalyst for outfield players form, good or bad.

We know why that cup tie ended as it did. He wasn't the reason.

With him in goal, we dropped 4 points all season. With Alisson in there, we've got 4 points from his last 5 league games.

We now have to live with the consequences of all that.

There is literally no way of ever knowing that if Kelleher had been in goal these last 5 games we'd have got more points than if Alisson was in goal...it's conceivable that if Kelleher had been in goal we'd have got no points at all....or 15 points. There are too many factors that decide a result than who is the keeper.

Ali is the best keeper in the world, F***ing period.

Had he not been injured we could well have been in 2 cup semi finals. Kelleher has been at fault for more goals this season than Ali has the last 6 years.

Quite a few of us noticed he began making a couple of mistakes after the manc Cup tie,  so when Ali was fiit he came back in. No one is knocking Kelleher. But you're a demented c**t if you think Kelleher is better than Ali

Don't know how many times this season goals have gone in under his body.

Hilarious people are not understanding the quality Ali brings. Best keeper in the world, easy

I however, would like to see him being tested less often with the new manager in the future

We rely on him far too much imo

Look at that crap at Arsenal who got golden glove award, our reserve keeper is better but the Arsenal team defend so much better than us imo

And yet you couldn't even name one of them.

Alisson made two horrendous howlers in the derby. One which resulted in a goal, the other was saved by the VAR. He fumbled a basic catch in his next game, 30 seconds later the ball was in the net, and 2 more points went down the Thames. 5 points lost in 2 games. He had his latest distribution howler at the weekend, when a routine clearance was charged down. Basic stuff that any half decent keeper should be able to cope with.

We might still be in the title race if he was still the best in the world. In reality, it turns out that the only trophy we have won in the past two years, was with Caoimhin in goal.

There isn't a keeper better than him in the world, so no we wouldn't be. He's had his mistakes/blunders for sure, didn't cover himself in glory in either of the games against Arsenal nor the game at City but he saved our bacon time and time again before the injury.

I'm not too sure what your point is with that last statement, Kelleher takes the league and Europa cup games whilst Ali takes charge in the Prem and CL.....using a tinpot cup win to downplay Ali as a keeper is a pathetic argument.

We might still be in the Europa and FA Cup if Kelleher showed he was as great as some like to make out?
