Can definitely see him trying to claim the credit of Sancho's development and improvement this past season
Can definitely see that, “by showing him tough love, he has grown to be so much more, that was the plan all along”
I personally feel the club is all wrong in United, I could go on in detail but it would take forever, there is no professional culture at the club, the standards are lax and it’s not a winning mentality and mentality in wanting to improve is not there.
He seems like he needs a squad full of good pros to carry him along and increase his standards. Which is fine as not all players are proactive and leaders and United have the opposite of that.
It’s a shame because he is a talented English player who could help us at the big stages but you do wonder his choice of clubs when he went to United, any player serious about their career who is looking to be the best should be taking gambles at a club like United until it’s fixed from the top down
Let them buy less known players and build their standards up first
