They'll need another West Ham if they are gonna win against the Scum and Howard Webbs mob on top.

I'd have Rice as our number one midfield target this summer. I know a lot don't rate him and say he's overrated cos he's English but he's absolute world class for me.

Great results for us today. Could not have asked for better. Realistically Newcastle need 6 points from their last 4 to finish above us ... unless we get some big wins.

If we win our last 3 then united will need 9 points from their last 4 games.

Over to Leeds now to hopefully beat Newcastle and help us out whilst dropping Everton further in the sh*t.

I think any vague hopes that we can get top 4 are gone after the United and Newcastle performances. We need to win every game (not going to happen) and expect 1 of those teams to drop 10 or 11 points in 9 games.

This post is starting to look a bit pessimistic.  ;D

      Never give up.

Seen Eddie Howe complaining about Arsenal ''time waisting'' against Newcastle yesterday. What a hypocrite c**t this guy is. No team comes even close to the number of minutes Newcastle has wasted this season. I remember they came to Anfield earlier this season and were wasting time from the 20th minute or so. Shut the F**k up, Eddie.

Always 3 teams worse than Everton. This year will turn out no different. I bet they put up a better show against us 🙄

So am I doing the math right...IF (big IF) we win all of our remaining games, United would have to win at least 3 of their remaining 4 to finish above us?

Yep, they need 9 and Newcastle 7 if we win all our remaining games.

Literally falling over themselves to keep everton up. This is so bad anyone would think it's on purpose. Pathetic this from Brighton.

Everton fans celebrating like they've won the CL...I mean I don't necessarily blame them today but they boo their team off every week...they always get away with someone being a bit shi**er to keep them in the league....the fans have done it themselves baying for every managers blood every two minutes wanting Big Dunc appointed

Understandable given circumstances, against Brighton a massive score.
