Trent injury not bad and maybe back next week . Robbo back in training should be fit for City

Be fantastic if both are available. We've missed Robbo.

Diaz out until December as per Paul Joyce

      Yay

Big loss, of the front lads, could argue has been the best this season. Very unfortunate.
But we still have Nunez/Mo/Jota/Bob, there's quality there if a couple could hit a vein of form.

Huge set back for the Reds, losing Diaz until December, always gives his best and more. The team seem to have been run into the ground lately with so many injuries. I am no expert but something must change sooner than later

Best player this season by a country mile. The most dangerous attacker as well.

      Huge blow.

Absolutely devastated. Had shown some serious promise over recent months.

Let's hope he comes back fit and firing after the World Cup.

Something drastically wrong with our preseason I think

      This is ludicrous

Well Trents injury was a shocking tackle.

And Matip generally has some sort of muscle injury at some point, so nothing to do with pre-season.

Its just turning out to be a very unlucky season for injuries. It happens every so often.

We didn’t really have much of one - shortened because of the World Cup and we finished last season later than everyone and started a week earlier as well

we seem to have some very injury prone players or players who seem to get injured far to often. Thankfully the big guy is back to cover for Joel who has been solid this season. If we go with Kostas and Joe then midfield are going to have to be far more creative.

At this rate we'll be signing up more doctors than players in January. I mean Matip off on his regular check up.."3 weeks this time Joel"..

Diaz was hacked down in front of Oliver and he gave nothing. Still looks like The Ox is nearly fit again..he's been nearly fit for the best part of 5 years FFS..

Yea and I get that it's the injury prone players seemingly picking up these knocks but could it be we went too intense in a short space off time instead of easy these guys into the season?

Probably no right or wrong way to go about this pre season but definitely seems were picking up more injuries than most.

I honestly don't think we do easing into training.

It's heavy metal all the way, including training ;)

Could well have happened - a short intense boot camp to get them up to match pace but was too much
