So many positives today against an admittedly shocking Bournemouth team.
Firmino ... I've been critical of Bob but in any walk of life when you're struggling you need a starting point ... that's today. If Bob can get back to something like his best on a regular basis then what a boost that will be.
Salah hasn't scored. Another thing I've been critical of is the lack of goals through the team ... not getting carried away but 5 different scorers and salah isn't one of them ... happy days.
Robbo. Much better today. Robbo never hides or has the wrong attitude ... he's not been tested today but much more like his old self.
Elliot ... nobody picking him up ... but he's making hay. Only one game but he's been great today. Great goal too.
Trent ... whopping goal ... not tested defensively but better going forward ... again just one game against a shocking team but its a start. Will be tested Wednesday against Newcastle then we will see where he is at.
Diaz ... tough to replace mane. Buy the talent is there. He knows we need regular goals and assists from him. Great attitude. 2 for the season and his confidence will be on the up hopefully.
Klopp. He needed to do something ... must have roasted them. Maybe delivered a few home truths ... but sometimes it needs to be said.
Just a start this but hopefully the start of a long upward curve.
