      Just seen that David Fairclough, the original Super Sub, and for me the reason that we are where we are globally with that goal against Saint-Étienne is unwell.

      I'm sure that we all wish him a very speedy and full recovery.

      Used to raise my blood presure when I saw him getting ready to come on.
      Mabey it’s the red tints, but I can’t remember him coming on and not scoring. What a player.

      Your spot on Puppy. From what I remember ( to date ) he is the all time No1 of super subs.  ;D  There’s been a few since his day but you just knew when he came on he bagged you lot a goal.  ;D

      His St Etienne goal is legendary but for me it was his Derby Goal leaving most of the Everton team on their backsides.

      Top top man is our Davy Fairclough, met him a few years back at a Liverpool legends do and he is such a nice fella and lovely to chat to, I wish him a speedy and full recovery.
