Yep, our focus is on the later game and hoping Chelsea and United play out a boring 0-0 with a few injuries.

If we dont beat Ajax someone needs to hit the panic button because Napoli cold be a big problem for us

We only need a point against ajax. I'd take that now

Did not see the game at work today. Apparently a really poor performance, is what I have been told. Really need to up our game in midweek against Ajax.

That's right. The Boss said the club is on the floor. Got to show some fight, some urgency in their play. Piss poor today.

Can I just say keeper defence and attack I'm.more than happy with ( apart from injuries )

But noo e is telling me you get excited when you see
      Jones
      Kieta
      Chamberlain
      Henderson
Fabhino ( may be harsh but been poor )

On the team sheet, carvalaho and Elliot get a pass young and learning but our midfield Thiago apart is dreadful truly dreadful.

Take Thiago out, maybe Fabinho (though he’s been sh*t too) and our midfield at the moment isn’t even top 10 for me in the league… best you can hope for with a midfield like ours right now is Mickey Mouse cup if we get lucky.

It’s unbelievably dire mate, so slow and lethargic. Boring

Still believe the effects of last season , the short pre season is causing a good amount of issues - when you add in playing a slightly different style because of the new big signing it’s always going to be a challenge

But today was the first time it can’t be used

Big players just didn’t look up for it -VVD , Fabinho and Mo are the big spine players , and they just looked lethargic and the effort wasn’t there. It’s tough at the moment because of the amount of games in a short period but these players are more than good enough to be challenging - they are shown that and proven it

Injuries aren’t great and that imo is not helped with the pre season or should I say lack of it

It’s time for those players to dig in and want it more , earn those big wages

The worst thing is not just we are looking so slow and out of ideas, United are actually playing better football and having a better season than us.

How did this happen when we almost won the Quad last season.  :f_wah:

Last season means nothing mate. Nobody gives a f*ck what happened last season.

United have invested in quality players ... fu*ked maguire off and ronny top  ... its not rocket science is it.

I hope this isn't going to the final game home to Napoli, they've been excellent in this season's CL.

Damn, we sure are frustrating to watch this season....  We are limping through to the World Cup and will require significant investment in January and next summer if we want to salvage top 4 and hope for any trophies in the coming seasons.  No more sell to buy.  No more 20M net spend.  We need to act like a big club, with a big budget, and a big appetite for success.

      Seen our wage bill ?

Give it a few weeks and Ben doak will be in the first team squad.  Ramsey managed another 45 minutes

Get the likes of keita, chamberlain and Jones off that wagebill ... plus others who need to be shown the door and then maybe we can pay some players who are actually going to be good enough and actually contribute on the field.

Unfortunately those new players will cost money and with no CL next season that will mean Jürgen has f*ck all to spend instead of nearly f*ck all.

      It ain't looking good.

That's why I said I'd take a point. I've no expectation of winning. Thiago , with an ear infection won't fly.

Darwin with hamstring issues ... won't be training in time. I doubt he will play. We need to scrape something in Holland.

Unless Jürgen rights it off and focuses on Leeds and hopes for the big atmosphere against an already qualified as group winners napoli.

Doak does look a heck of a talent - would probably be called a Lge 1 player after a couple of games by some

Ramsey will get some time in the cup games coming up

Have to add - it was beyond disappointing to see Forest fans start the Hillsborough chants , if there was one club that could understand the pain then it’s surely them.
