Back line were solid -Konate is the main partner for VVD


The middle three were solid , energy and pressed - Milner thought was very good , was worried when he went off but Elliot put in a shift

Front three did well -Jones the brighter of the three , Bobby nice touches but just seemed off it


And nice cameo’s from the subs with Nunez getting his goal 😂


Very encouraging sign’s especially the shape - 4-3-3 looked so much better

Nunez is one hell of a character, two more goal involvements for someone who is useless is not so bad.

Good confidence building result. Darwin always dangerous and the game became more intense when he came on the pitch.
Thiago is pure class.
The young players, especially Ramsey looked comfortable when they came on.
Napoli are a very good team. I know they were not playing anywhere near 100% but it's good to get a result against them.

Darwin is a bit of a thunderstorm type of player, just got that explosive pace and it's a bit hit and miss and probably always will be but as long as the hits hit at about 75% of the time then he'll be a fantastic signing.

The 'yellow' card for Trent was the stupidest I've ever seen.

His pace and size make him a MFer to play against...... Like Salah, he is very much an impact player. He needs to be out there. Even in a poor performance he keeps a back line honest and opens lanes for other players. One of the first names on the sheet for me.

He's a handful for defenders and that in itself should get him in the starting 11
