No chance. We ain't getting above Brighton. We ain't getting above arsenal city united Newcastle.  Tottenham and Brighton will fight over 5th and 6th. We'll be battling Fulham and those below. That's our level. We are not at Brightons level.

I think Brentford and fulham will finish above us.

The team and players clearly want a change, the structure needs a change and we need a manager who can act and pull the trigger with getting in whatā€™s required instead of keeping dead wood due to loyalty

This is an elite performing club and there is no room to carry someone who refuses to change and is stubborn in their ways

Rafa has unfinished business and he is Liverpool

Love to have you in my corner.

Can't see anything special about Gakpo if I'm being honest.

It was there to see during the world cup. He's not cut in the electric winger mold we go for at all. Looks a bit flematic imo, just an average decent winger.

      He's nowhere near Diaz' level.

The word 'abuse' is doing quite a bit of heavy lifting in that sentence pal

I can remember loads telling me Rafa had to go and what a great job Hodgson would do for us. The same lads coming out with that sh*t were apologising about two months later!!

Itā€™s a dysfunctional team mate canā€™t judge any new player under the current tactics.

Yes, 100% agree, he's still getting to know the players, the club, manager etc. With such ineptitude around him, we can't judge him yet

Well if we had unlimited spending power like Pep  does we would be challenging this season again under JĆ¼rgen.

The man can only do so much magic under FSG's sell to buy policy.

Some funny policies going on though. More wingers than midfielders

      Kloppā€™s days looking numbered now.

Come on mate I think he has enough credit in the bank to be given the chance to right things next season.

It's FSG's days that are numbered hopefully.

Any team can lose a game but this team is done.

Brighton with 30 shots on our goal today

      Itā€™s not ā€œdoneā€ at all

Letā€™s also remember the key players we are missing

      VVD , Jota , Diaz , Nunez , Bobby

We have been in worse positions and got through it

Expected a Brighton win so that's 4 Prediction League points.

Not sure when our next win is coming but Liverpool are in a battle to finish top six here.

Expected hammering. Should have been more.

JĆ¼rgen takes the blame I'm afraid. What did he do in training all week? I didn't see one aspect of improvement. One aspect of better organisation. One aspect of a change of tactics/gameplan to try and start building a foundation to build on top of.

Same ol same ol everything. Same ol result.

None of those key players are midfielders... when they return we still have a non existent midfield to give them nothing up front.

Just a couple of months ago we did hunt the Quadruple. Do you really think Klopp lost it within months? Those cases of Wenger/Mourinho developed over years. This is just an adversity which you get once in a while when you do not have the funds of City.

Youā€™re right but those managers also lost it in a season and then didnā€™t get it back

What we are seeing is 2 years of poor planning and now itā€™s biting us with klopp

But think about it, in the World Cup break, klopp could have worked on a new system to fix our issues and also find a midfield player for weakness

What does he do? Stick with the same old system and by an attackerā€¦talking down on people thinking we need midfield player

This is the stubbornness which has cost us, klopp is not bigger than Liverpool, thank you for everything but now is the time we revive our season

Rafa is there and we can bring him in short term before looking properly at the end of the season

All the players you stated are not midfielders. This team is done in an sense where our midfield cannot control games anymore, you can put prime Messi and Ronaldo in this team and they wouldn't do anything because we have no midfield

      Stop with the excuses

Klopp himself refuses to buy a midfield player manā€¦come on canā€™t you see itā€™s all him, he has 2-3 years bud refuses and even this season asked for one when we had injuries

Those who know nothing and delusional will want to sack JĆ¼rgen. And FSG fits into this category of people. So it wouldnā€™t surprise me since they canā€™t get anything crucial right apart from appointing JĆ¼rgen.

Like someone else pointed out before, its too early to judge. The whole team struggled today, and in games like these. its really hard for any new signing to do well.
