A must win game for the Reds at home to Wolves. The  fans need some cheering up after the collapse against Real Madrid. Whoever is in the starting line up must give their all and put on a display, to give everyone something feel a bit more positive about, than recent performances.

I think Elliot and Bajcetic is a good choice in midfield, simply hope the back four can keep Wolves at bay and our forward line can score much needed goals to justify selection !

At least wolves won’t be able to gloat that we have missed out on the title like they normally do on the last game of the season.

      Any word on Nunez?

Would love to see Carvalho get a run at some point in this game. Would love to know what he's done to end up on Klopps crap list?

Allison, Trent, Konate, Virgil, Robbo, Henderson, Bajcetic, Gakpo, Nunez, Jota, Mo, ….4-3-3…
….back to what works best, reasonably solid back 4, Hendo & Bacjetic holding, Gakpo in the hole, with Nunez left, Mo right, Jota thru the middle, Bacjetic can box to box supporting both Cody in attack or Hendo defensively, stopping thru balls, disrupting play etc, quite a burden for such a young player but he’s wise enough and fit enough to cope, had Tyler Morton been available he’d be playing too, next to him,

This season is all but done for us if we’re all realistic, still a outside chance of top 4 but that’s looking unlikely if current form persists, so I’m all up for introducing one or two more academy players and get them familiar with first X1 match days, being on the bench, working with the usual suspects and then perhaps actually playing, in short blooding what we have and perhaps finding another nugget like Bacjetic,

Yes you can argue that we need to finish as high as we can but for me it’s more important we get the basics right and build from the bottom up, in short, having no European football next season may not be a bad thing, not great financially but then we’re f***in skint anyway so not much difference to our current state, putting it another way, when we won the league, the CL etc, we didn’t spend a lot after either, which to our detriment we’re suffering now,

The time is now to look at younger lads, I don’t want to see passed their sell by date players anymore, I want to see youthful excitement and enthusiasm, I want to look ahead and say we’re going to be great again, look at what we’re producing at the academy,

I want us to faze out the deadwood and hangers on, a complete clear out followed by a infusion of vibrancy and excitement, then add the quality targets available, obvious one being Bellingham, Gravenberch has been mentioned before, as too has Maddison, plenty others out there who will bring all of the above,

We won’t get it holding on to the likes of Ox, Naby, Fabinho, Hendo, Matip, Bobby, Milner, Thiago, all of those should be fazed out within 2/3 windows, not sure of the average age of that lot but whatever it is it needs to be a lot younger,

Then perhaps we might just start competing again !!!

Doesn't look anything like the 4 3 3 we have played over the years mate so I'm a bit confused.

I wish we'd switch to 4231 as I posted above ... we don't have the midfielders for 433. More protection for the back 4 but still the likes of robbo, salah, nunez, Jota and Elliott to create and damage and the likes of bob and cody to come on.

Actually what would be massively helpful is if the players we have healthy would actually play to their potential.

But also I would say that his point about not having a fully healthy squad for so long may point to a need for some investigation into why that is. Are we too often targeting players that have a poor injury record? Are our training methods causing players to break down? Are we not rotating players enough to give them time to recover? I don't have the answers...but surely there's something that needs to change to put us in a better position to have our players healthy more often than not.

Klopp on the team's mission the rest of the season:

“I really think we are ready. If there is a club that can do it I really think it is us. Honestly. Because all the things we achieved these last years we achieved together, neither without the team nor without the crowd. Nothing. We have a future together: the immediate future from tomorrow but there is a bigger picture as well. We will strike back in general but now we have to make sure that we squeeze everything out of this season that we can get.”

I'm ready to run through the brick wall for him.

Think Bobby will get a start tonight. Could play in that midfield advanced role. Sometimes referred to as 'the hole'...just off the front 3.

      Ali,...Trent,Konate,VVD,Robbo...Hendo,Bajcetic...Bobby...Mo,Nunez,Gakpo.

One of the games in hand on Spurs so we have to pressure them. Got to turn Conte into a trembling wreck in the last 5 games.

Just make sure when we lose the ball upfield, you get close to the nearest wolves player to you, and stick to him, don’t give them room to play through us like we aren’t there, as for most of the last game we weren’t !

We also need to press better up too so they can’t pick their passes just as they want.

This is actually a fairly important game. Two wins puts us three points behind Spurs. All hope is not lost but I'm sure it will be if we don't beat this lot. We all need something to cling to for the rest of the season or it will just feel like punishment until the summer.

I guess the atmosphere is going to be very subdued for this one. Up to the players to get the crowd going.

It will be a relief if Darwin is involved, one way or another. His sheer pace an asset to the team.

Agreed mate. Admit I’ve not always had a lot of faith in him as a long term prospect but can’t deny I feel better with him in the team these days.

      Went 3-1 myself.

And even had a wee bet on it. For some reason I'm confident in it.
