Some tricky quick feet on Doak, drop of the shoulder so easy for him to get past defenders:

when Joe Gomez in on form he is a real player and one with great pace just hope like Curtis he can stay fit he gets some stick this lad but I would even have him at Right back he has the pace to get up and down. He must be above Joel now  in selection

His passing is terrible positioning woeful and tackling questionable, other than that I agree.

thing young Harvey is continuing to improve and looking really solid.

well they did look livelier second half no idea how we will do against Chelsea and I expect they will probably be the same.

To me, that seemed like a half decent performance, considering who we were playing. Not yet at our best, and some of the defending was again poor. Hopefully we'll improve that with a recognised 6 in the side, but as it is, we aint gonna win the premier thats for sure.
Doak does look like an exciting player, although he often wants a touch too many, when theres a better option available. Maybe just trying to impress to much. Looked a better player when he made a couple of appearances last season.
Lets hope we get that specialised 6 in soon, and it will hopefully all come together.

he could have said the same thing 6 months ago so why are we still having the same conversation top teams will tear us apart they will bring us on to them and just fire a long ball into the big empty space were Trent or a rightback should be. This should have been sorted out inJune as soon as the window opened.
