It would be a travesty if this Arsenal side won the title. Such an average team.

      No chance.

Not quite sure how it could be a 'travesty' if arsenal or ourselves or villa beat cheaty over 38 games and win the league. We can debate the qualities of each team sure ... but a travesty .... nahhh. If they're top after 38 games they'll deserve it. As will ourselves.

Only one team winning this league unless they trip over themselves. Everyone knows that. And the 115 charges fade away.

When asked about the Cooper rumours, Hodgson said it was of "no interest to me at all" and "to suggest that is disrespectful".

"I'm 76 years of age. I've been working 47 years, I've got a CBE for my services and I've got a CV which is incredible," Hodgson said.

"So my final answer to you is that it makes no difference."

I think you are being very harsh on him. He's a decent manager, not good enough for Liverpool, England or 1 of the very big teams because his style of play is to defensive. But he's had a long and distinguished career in football and I think he deserves some respect from all football fans.

Football is obviously a tribal sport with a lot of animosity between fans but I personally think we should still show respect for others managers, players, etc. That includes Roy, Sir Alex, Bill Kenwright, "The Chosen One", etc.
Everyone except Hicks, Gillett and Roy Keane  ;)

Roy Hodgson has given most of his life to football, the sport we all love.

Aye. Loved his answer. Bellend journo trying to get under his skin with disrespectful questions .... got well and truly put in his place.

Hodgson has had a good career in the game. And to be managing at 76 ... fair play to him. These 1 season wonders like Potter and the d*ckheads on TV panels who couldn't manage a fu*king target store yet think they're the greatest things in the game and tactical f*cking gurus are the ones who should be getting this bs.

Makes me feel sick dropping those 4 points to a sh*t United side and getting cheated by corruption at the highest level versus Arsenal.

Would have been a nice cushion.

      Title over for me.

Did Nostradamus visit some people at Christmas?

If that's how they feel when we have a nice cushion at the top of the league, how will they feel if we drop all the way down to second?

City lose two more games and they're done imo.

      Quote from Don77
Not going to get too excited here. Alot of time left. But ....

We're clear at the top of the league, past halfway. I mean, how dare we get excited, let alone too excited.

      Burnley leading against Luton.

(didn't actually see the goal because I watching the 147 from Mark Allen)

Luton with a stoppage time equaliser.

Genuinely amazed that VAR didn't rule that out for a foul on the keeper.

Considering we got saved with the foul on Alisson this season - I’m surprised too!

Normally think keepers are overprotected but the Luton forward clearly backed into the keeper so yeah can’t believe it wasn’t ruled out to be honest.

Newcastle score but the flag is raised.

      Clearly off as well.

Ederson looks in a bit of trouble in the aftermath.

Newcastle's reulcuntance to actually come outside their own box is a huge loss.

They've literally rolled over for City.

Ridiculous how much leeway the officials give City. Blatant foul on Gordon, and then City go and score with Gordon trying to get back to position.
