Brighton doing their best to make them look very good. Brighton manager off at the end of the season, players know it and are just plodding. It's obvious there's no belief in that team...Going backwards fast.

Still denying it then. I told you on this forum back in august arsenal would be citys challengers this season. I didnt expect us to be in the mix. But arsenal are not going anywhere. They are a good team and thats the top and bottom of it.

Didnt see the game today. I didnt need to waste an afternoon watching 2 predictable results. If it was comfortable for arsenal maybe its just because theyre good as opposed to brighton only 'turning up against us' . Maybe the fact they didnt give a goal up inside 90 seconds helped as well.

The only thing that wins this league for us is 8 wins. City will win out, as will arsenal. We have 8 hurdles to clear starting tomorrow.

Have to agree at the moment there is no point getting up hope that the other two will drop points.

It's in our own hands and l think we need as close to 8 wins as possible.

You also told us, repeatedly, that Newcastle, Arsenal, United and Chelsea had passed us by because of their spend, ;D

And that's the thing. It's in OUR hands, we control our destiny and if we were to not win the title it would be because of our own doing, no one else's.

We have to stop coming from behind. Need to be ready tomorrow from the start.

Errr, we've won 9 out 10 of our games against the Hammers in recent years....

Doesn't mean they don't try everything they can against us, then get smashed by City and Arsenal.

One of me mates is a Hamer. Never want him to be happy! Why I fkn hate them so much...nice guy otherwise though!  :lmao:

So with 7 games to go we are level points with Arsenal but inferior goal difference by 9 goals. Alot. City will win out from here. Which means we have to win out to finish above them. Assuming we do ... where do oeople see Arsenal dropping points. They will ruin United and Everton last 2 matches both of whom will take it up the ar*e.

      Villa - h
      Wolves - a
      Chelsea - h
      Tottenham - a
      Bournemouth  - h
      United - a
      Everton - h

Tottenham away is the only possibility i see.

6 wins and a defeat at spurs We could afford 1 draw and finish above arsenal. But city will win out so we would still need 7 wins. Thats the damage today has done.

Spurs maybe . Utd will.offer as much resistance as a chocolate fireguard and Everton well safe by that point .

Yep. The last 2 matches are gimmes ... almost a celebration for united and everton fans seeing us fail whilst watching their teams lose. If we dont beat everton theyve got that as well ... they stopped us. Sickening.

Tottenham are still fighting for a CL place ... but top 5 gets it this year so no competition between villa and spurs. United nowhere near in 6th so even thats going against us. Arsenal will roll villa next week. City will hammer Luton. We need to beat palace to be as you were with 6 left.

Anyone hoping for a favor in those last 2 games are deluded.

Seems as though last season bar the last 3 games and this season Arteta has emerged as the new thorn in fraudiola's side and that will continue next season in the post klopp premier league.

You look at arsenal. Efficient. Consistsnt. Good game managment. Score goals, barely concede and look very strong. They will go again in the transfer market this summer.

If they get past munich i see them as the only team stopping city winning another CL too because city will beat Madrid.

      Everton deducted 2 points.

      They will still survive unfortunately.

Don't think I'd count out Madrid just yet.  Ancelotti has a few tricks up his sleeves.

As it stands if villa can do something tomorrow their prize will be moving into the top 4. Motivation.

Every team seem to be scoring counters with ease whilst we F**k up every counter. Also, I wish if Nunez was as composed as Isak.

      Ange ball as it's finest.

Porro and Van de Ven have put in the worst defensive performances I can remember. Even worst than us the other night.

The Gordon and Isak duo are some force in this league, 2 of the harder players to keep quiet for the full 90.

Isak is such an amazing finisher. He would've scored 30 goals if he played with us.

      Never change Timo, never change.

& that's no more than Newcastle (or Spurs) deserve.

That’s a long trip back south made even longer for those travelling fans.

Dropping out of the top 4 on GD when just the 2-0 loss would’ve kept them in it is very Spursy indeed.
