How are people posting links from Twitter without the x.com in it ?

I'm just using the copy link button on the Tweet.

Apparently he can play CB as well.

Appears a smart signing this one

      Oh good Jesus.

Whatever let's give the lad a shot. Everyone deserves a chance to show what they can do.

Still want 1 more in on top if we land this fella

      He's 30 years old not 50.

He's a signing you expect to start straight away with his experience and be the main guy while a younger player rotates in and out.

We are rebuilding the midfield make 0 sense to sign a 30 years and get rid of Fabinho who is younger.

I think he looks alright! From the clips he looks mobile, good feet, can turn out of trouble and can strike a ball. Sounds like the fee will be low so it’s very little risk. The fact he is a skipper and has experience are both big plusses.

It is a plus the leadership stuff but he will have to gain the respect of the dressing room pretty quickly to be seen as any type of leadership figure here.

The two lads we brought in are both young. Hendo, Milner, fab and Keita all very experienced have left. Fir a low price deal I really don’t think it’s anything to get in a twist about. He’s 30, not 35. I would expect another player to follow on from this signing.

Bundesliga is a league with 34 games seasons and he's played 33 in each of the three seasons he's been there. So if anything he doesn't seem to be injury prone either.

Boss wanted Fabinho to stay, but he downed tools and decided to leave...For some obscure reason. So we didn't get rid of him, he bailed.

Yes of course, got to earn his place first. Same applies to Szobo who captains Hungary but is only 22. He’ll have to earn his stripes too.

I was certainly caught off guard for this one as we don't normally target players of a certain age but not every signing needs to be for 10 years either. The truth of the matter is that very few players actually ever stay or perform for that long anyway - even those of the right age.

It will be underwhelming if he's the only signing we make before the end of the window but could still be a very good addition to the squad.

So cry about losing experienced players and then cry when they bring in experienced players

His on the ball and defensive stats are bang average but better than average going forward.
Has never played CB in Bundesliga only in his early career.

Hopefully we have another player lined up as well.

The F**k ? Even you, you were underwhelmed by this then suddenly you act like you always wanted him ? No I was asking if this is Lavia replacement, I'm fine with him back up option but he cannot be our main signing for the DM position.

Fee is 19m Euros apparently plenty left for another midfielder and centre back.

This is what happens when you leave things to the last minute.

Could be we’re in the bargain basement, and we can sell him to chavs next season for £150m

Hahaha 19 million euros for a back up option ?? Should've just kept Henderson then.
