So first home game of the season with construction still going on to the Anfield Red End.

It shouldn’t really matter if we start with any line up against these it should still be a comprehensive win with our fire power up front but I’m not expecting another 9-0.

I’m sure Trent will spend plenty of time in midfield.
Hoping to see Nunez start in the No 9 otherwise it’s a very he is not the preferred striker for Jürgen.

      Alisson
      Trent
      Konate
      VVD
      Robbo

      MacAllister
      Jones (injury dependent)
      Szobo

      Salah
      Nunez
      Diaz

Think Endo will start and plug that hole leaving Trent to have even more freedom. I hope we see Darwin start we need to see if this lad is the real deal or not .  Cody possibly could also start but its nice now Jürgen has these problems

      NB: Team no longer available

This is how I would play but Klopp will use Robbo and Gakpo instead of the Greek and Nunez.

If Endo is available, I would sub him in at around the 60 th minute instead of Thiago.

      Salah Gapko Diaz

      Too soon for Endo.
Maybe a toss up between Cody and Nunez but I'd go Cody to start. Jota seems to have had a ropey day last time out, though I didn't see the game.
Elliot sounded like he did well when he came on.  Not mad about Cody in the middle.

They are quite an awkward team to play but a game we should win, hope Nunez starts

Either it’s Endo in from the start or Gakpo will play there again. Personally, I hope we throw the new lad straight in

Forgot about Harvey . More than likely will go with him especially after his cameo

      Should be beating these handily.

Gonna guess Endo won't start but will make an appearance.

Start Nunez, Salah and Gakpo up top.

Ali; Trent, Konate, Virgil, Robbo; Mac, Dom, Elliott; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

I'll go with that due to the work permit doubts for Endo - otherwise I could have seen us chucking him straight in.

Or back with Gakpo's failed experiment since it is a 'lesser' team.

      I hope it is Endo

If you listened to Jürgen in his pre-match interview he said both Bacjetic and Thiago were close but not close enough, from his explanation of the Chav game he said mistakes made were due to us having not played enough games, he didn’t specifically point out that those mistakes were defensive errors but in fact from further upfield and mainly because of the inexperience,
He did say though that such issues will improve with time, and are to be expected this early in the season, makes sense obviously, and once we have played 5/6 games we’ll see a much more in tune team,

For Bournemouth Endo comes straight in for me, Macca in his favoured role and Trent at rwb, but with licence to roam, think Jota picked up a knock so we’ll see either Nunez or Cody up top with Mo & Lucho…….

      …….                       Alisson

                    Trent  Konate  Virgil  Robbo

                                    Endo
                       Macca               Szlobo

                      Salah     Nunez     Diaz

With Endo in covering for Trent I can see us in time becoming a very very dangerous team, capable of taking on and beating anyone, a few games under our belts with this line up with rhythm, confidence and familiarity we’re gonna be rocking n rolling,

With Trent moving forward we’ll become a back three with Endo sat in as DM covering, Trent joins Macca & Szlobo pinging passes and crosses into the paths of Mo, Nunez & Lucho, if the thought of that attack doesn’t excite you then you are indeed f***in dead !!

In time, we’ll have quality back up with, Gakpo, Doak, Jota, Bacjetic, Elliot, Jones, Matip, etc etc, might yet see another addition in midfield but I’d rather we add another CB, Endo can do both but he’s not f***in superman,

Pundits will tell us it’s a straight-ish race between Pep & Arteta, but most of them have attention spans of goldfish and dismiss the fact that Jürgen Klopp is still here and he builds fantastic exciting football teams, we have Wee Eddy Howe building his own empire up there in never never land and like us are a developing exciting side and will be a concern for most, including us, anyhoo….

Let’s just concentrate on us, and what we do, take one game at a time, and see where it takes us, at the moment we look a bit hit and miss, but after one league game, away at them horrible cnuts, we come away with a draw, will not be a bad result at all going forward, everyone else will of course improve too, but they don’t have the genius of a Jürgen Klopp do they??

This is what I'd go for as well.

Elliott done well when he came on and is more natural in that position.

Although you could go 4 2 3 1 with Gakpo as the 10.

Both good shouts, tbh, I never gave a moment’s thought regarding a work permit, I’m hoping it has indeed come through in time, however if not, I’d go with your selection Si, whatever Jürgen goes with, I’m just happy to be back playing and whatever will be, will be, we’re still transitioning so plenty of time for improvement and possible additions too ??
