Bit surprised we loaned out Phillips. Gone to Celtic on a 4 month loan. Jarell Q with VVD or whatever. Elliott in mid. Nunez plays gets hat trick in 4-1 win.

Agree with posters who opt for a strong side, need to start off in winning ways, whoever the opposition !

The problem with konate is that he's injury prone. It's like he's got muscular issues. He can't back up 1 game after another ... even Saturday ... 7 days training and then another game the following Saturday seems too much.

If he's trained ok this week I'd keep him for Sunday. We can beat lask without him.

I see no way he plays Thursday and then turns out again Sunday. I'd leave him at home and have him ready for the weekend. I think we need to use him wisely.

If he has muscular problems.then leaving him.out with no match fitness behind him.and expect him to.be good to.go.Sunday will make.imjury even more.likely

I'd say go stronger now and hope to have a match or.two to rotate after we've qualified for the knockout rounds.

For now only rotate as needed for the league schedule.

We will rotate no doubt but we will still field a strong side I think. It will to an extent be influenced by metrics we aren't privy too, as well as how players feel and respond in training. As much as the competition itself, it's the risk to our rhythm and fluency as a side that I would worry about if we make too many changes.

Probably a big reason behind him not pushing for a move in the summer.

No you can't ,by that rationale what are the point of pre season friendlies ? Match fitness and what they do in training are not the same things

I know that because I used to play but clubs like Liverpool there will be different fitness coaches and will train them hard to gain the match fitness through shorter matches in training.

I’m really hoping Bacjetic gets sone minutes. Our midfield still doesn’t look quite right without a 6 and I really think he could grow into the role given the chance. Hoping to see Gravenburch at some point too. Klopp will rotate lots and that’s fine by me.

I think those 2 & Endo will get more minutes in coming weeks, games coming thick and fast now.

I'm expecting quite a few changes to be made, but still a strong team.
Tsimikas, kelleher, Endo, Doak, Elliott and Gravenberch all to start for me.

Can't say I know too much about Lask, so quite hard to predict a score, but I agree with what others have said and start off fairly strong, then once the game's in the bag bring on a few subs, looking forward to watching the reds on the early kick off time.

      LASK (insight from twitter)

They have lost just one game in 15 matches
Scored 42 goals in those games
Currently 3rd in the Austrian league behind salzburg and sturm graz.

An attacking team then. Who may well find it hard to defend v another attacking team.

Could be a high scoring game.

      Looks like Virgil will start.
Wouldn't be surprised if Alexis starts.

Expect Klopp to start strong and then rotate with 5 or 6 subs.
