Sit back and play for corners and dead balls will be their strategy

Need to be on it from the off and lot's of relentless attacking. Can be done.

I just don't want to fall into their trap of slowing the game down and in axeay giving them any sort of chance.

They'll have a go early I think. Part of their gameplan will be to target our weak defence especially with Dcl. From there I expect alot of timewasting , play acting and alot of spoiling antics to slow it down and frustrate the crowd.

Surely this is one game we can get ourselves up for and start fast .... surely. I'd hate to be a goal down early and the above antics going on.

I'd go with Diogo through the middle flanked by Diaz and Salah.

Endo Mac and Dom in the centre.

Trent Tsimi Matip and vvd at the back.

      NB: Team no longer available

I would rest Mac Allister and play two box to box midfielders who are energetic and been rested.

      Darwin should be definite starter.

      Come on Reds.

I hope that I would watch this match since I have an appointment at the bank. Again I won't be doing the Live Thread.

Since Jones is suspended, I would play Mac Allister, I do not want to see Elliott near starting XI, he should only be an impact sub.

Would leave the ones they have travelled across the world out of the starting 11 if possible. We had a massive drop off in energy levels last time around.  Would go for Endo in the middle as Kostas needs the help, and Macca was woeful after the last break so deserves a chance even though he went to Japan. Diaz to terrorise them in the second half. Can’t see us being out flying selves, luckily bitters are dogshite and can’t hit a barn door,  2-0 to the red men!

Harvey Elliot is 20 right him off and you would have also done the same with Mo and he is ahead of Mo in his development. JĂźrgen is doing great things with him and trusts him

Difficult to say games are must win at this stage but if we're serious about keeping pace at the top I think we need 12 from 12 in the next 4 before the international break.

Start today as we mean to go on.

With them being crap, it’s a derby and Dyche is the manager.

All points to a few injuries for us.
      Let’s hope the refs strong.
Get an early goal and go on to a 3:0 win

I've never seen that. I've never considered the perspective, let alone seen, videos of the Everton fans in the ground during that moment! This goes from 100 to 0 instantly, it's hard to pinpoint the exact moment they realise what just happened. Love that they lit a flare in celebration of a 0-0 to throw onto the pitch

As long as we win comprehensively and it’s not too early to sing “Merry Christmas Everton” then this could be a great start to the weekend.
