Endo is probably a doubt for a game or 2.

The good news is, the kids are letting the senior lads recover properly, so after international break we will have a much stronger squad again.

      Agree.

If only there was a press conference tomorrow where the manager was questioned on this.

Jokes aside, we have been kept in the dark for weeks now on the guys that've been nearing a return since the Brentford game.

      Good news, good news.

Should hopefully expect to see them all back after the international break then.

If this is the same injury with Mo that he suffered at Afcon then this is a complete failure of our medical dept. Same with Dom.

There is no way Mo could have been right for the brentford game. Or Dom for Chelsea.

If Dom, Darwin, Robbo and Endo can be available tomorrow that's great news.

But you can't be 100% sure there won't be a reaction. You can't replicate full speed, a full on Premier league game in training, so any player coming back from injury might niggle the original injury. That's the way it is.

I read somewhere that somebody claimed the training is too relaxed, not enough intensity and it shows with injuries cropping up when the intensity levels are ramped up in matches. Well we have been in the football business since 1892 and JĆ¼rgen has clocked up 40 odd years, so I think we know how to train the players.

I'm still wondering what Ali did on that Friday in training to tear his hamstring so bad he's been out so long.

Was it too intense? Did he not warm up? If he fell on his shoulder in drills or rolled an ankle ... fair enough but tear a hamstring? Gutting.

All that said , Ali being out is the least of our worries due to kellehers form

The sports science lads are paid top money to do exactly that - advice the manager when a player is ready to come back and for how long.

Thereā€™s no doubt that with Dom, Mo and Trent they have fu**ed up big time.

There's none of us that really knows. Were just guessing, me included. Don't know if there is such a thing as an 'injury league'. This season we'd be top for sure. The game is obviously much more intense than it's ever been. Press and pace is a big part of our game plan, whether that plays a part.

On the face of it, some of the injuries look avoidable but again, were just guessing.

How is that so your playing guessing games like us all , thereā€™s no charter for injuries, some players get reactions coming back after injury some donā€™t , their human beingā€™s prone to injury like anyone , they donā€™t have magic wands , players get injured in walk ups , suppose they should know that beforehand eh , they can and always only do their best .

Can't imagine the Boss giving the backroom staff grief, but the injuries could derail his last ever season here. He's managed the injury crisis with great skill. Can't remember when he last got the line up wrong, the balance out of kilter.

Knocked Joe in the first 20 or so but who could imagine Joe Gomez as a midfielder, now he could start there tomorrow. He did well, but it was Southampton at home. I mean he obviously lacks a bit of subtlety but he put in a shift and the energy and presence he brings into play is a big part of what he offers.

Itā€™s their job to advise around players coming back from injury. If three (four if you include Thiago) pick up injuries as soon as they come back it suggests something has gone wrong. One player I would get but four suggests something has gone wrong.

I donā€™t really think itā€™s that controversial to say that and I really donā€™t think ā€˜Iā€™m playing a guessing gameā€™ but fair enough if thatā€™s what you think.

      Will leave it there.
