      Look up, not down.

Win tomorrow and we are on same number of points as City and Arsenal. If we score enough goals and City lose against Chelsea (unlikely, I know) we could be top of league for the international break.

This will be tough. Play like the last 2 games Brentford will beat us.

      They're a tough side.

I think Trent needs to go back to RB for this. We miss the service he creates from the wing. Probably his service from the right, more than we gain from him being in the middle.
I also think Nunez should start as he won’t let their defenders settle on the ball, and that’s where we need to start the press otherwise I fear we’ll fail to break them down.
That’s when the game slows down and the moment we lose possession is when we’ll be back peddling against a counter.

We’re better than them, we’ve got better players than them.  Let’s play to our strengths,  and not give them any incentives.
After a couple of todays results we need to take advantage. Let’s get it done.

If Grav is out, while that would be bad in itself, cos I like the start he's made, it does mean that Harvey can come in and give us some width down the right. I think that has been something we are missing. Mo likes to come inside, as we know, even more so as he gets older. And with Trent tucking in, it is really only when Harvey comes on that we actually have somebody going out and using the space out wide (and there is usually plenty of it, with Mo dragging the LB inside).

Against Luton there was acres of space on the right and we never used it til Harvey came on. So, while Grav himself would be a miss, Harvey could give us some of the width we are foregoing with the Trent false RB experiment.

An important game tomorrow to win as it will give us confidence over the international break to come back for the citeh game which will be mega.

Bit stretched with the squad but we should be too strong for them at home as long as we concentrate and not become sloppy.

Nice post. Love hearing tactical analysis from different people. Way better than hearing batching and moaning

We just have to win this one!

Diaz, Jota and Nunez to fight for two places. I would not put Gakpo near the starting XI. I do not know what many of you see in him.

After the last couple results against ‘poorer’ opposition this is a must win for me, for the players confidence and the fans confidence.

And it’s going to be a tough one, another team here that raises their game against us.
