The reality is, in the long term, over a 38-game season, where consistency is the very least requirement to win league titles, Diaz, Nunez, Endo, Gravenberch, and Gakpo are not good enough. I'm also starting to doubt Szobs; I know he scored recently, but he's been largely anonymous for most of the last 7 or 8 games, apart from today, when he was terrible. I won't mention Tsimikas because we know he's backup to Robertson. Also, Klopp got it very wrong today.

Klopp got it wrong today. 36 shots and F**k all

Think your 2nd sentence kind of contradicts your first. Forwards let him down today. Tactics were fine, we just didnt have a cutting edge.

Honestly, i am a disappointed as everyone else here, but some of the comments here are going bit too far. Take a breath, and see that table. We are one point behind Arse. You know there were two teams on the pitch today, the scum were there too. They came for a draw, they parked the bus and they defended well.

I know its frustrating, but not every draw or loss is a end of the world. We dropped two points, and that is all.

Diaz needs to be an impact t sub when Jota comes back. I've never seen anyone slow the game down as much as he does and try and go isolation on a defensive pkayer. We loose so much offensive fluidity when the ball goes to him. Nunez fairly same, just to a lesser extent.

He does what Neymar does only he is nowhere near as good at it. Stops dead and tries to figure out what to do for about 10 seconds.  I’ve also seen him Cruyff turn himself in to trouble one too many times.

Plus remember we miss MacA, Jota and Robbo. It was clear from the start that we can only win the title if we stayed healthy AND play our best football. If we want to have a shot we need a hammer signing in January, i.e. a world class dude like VVD back then, probably a DM. But I can see Klopp rather wanting to develop his guys. This club is on a very good way anyway.

Ah the overreaction and hyperboles are in full affect I see

So we can now add Gravenburch , Diaz and Szoboszlai as players not good enough along with

      Endo
      Elliot
      Nunez
      Jones
      Gakpo

Staggering how we are managing to do so well when most of the squad isn’t good enough 🙄

It’s a poor performance against a team that parked the bus , it happens , can some at least try and calm down and be a bit more level headed.

There is only so long you can ride the luck wave though before you're knocked off... our performances have been anything but great for a while now, and it's a bloody good job we have players like Alisson during the season...

That's absolute bolliox, how many of them shots had you on the edge of your seat or drawing breath, maybe Trent's or Gomez's side netter, can't remember to many where I thought yes that's going on.

Game of poor passing when it mattered most, and half chances.
Slow build up then opportunities rushed.

Not what I expected at all !

The Reds have been able over the last few months to turn lacklustre performances into winning results....but in keeping with Stein's Law: If something cannot go on forever, it will stop. ....and that is what's happened.

Played their badge and not their XI. Too chaotic too nervy. Half this team has won the biggest trophies. As a team we should be able to perform properly in a prem game against United without it descending into an edgy mess.

He's hasn't improved from his first day here.

If you took his pace away ... well there's not alot left.

That was abysmal and painful to watch.
Not cause I thought Utd would nick it, but just the frustration of watching our pathetic attempts to create chances.
      Over and over.
We had so much possession, but trying to score, was like a teenager trying to unhook a bra.

They defended OK, but they are also one poxily limited side that were there to be beaten. Onana was kicking for touch first half. And their passing was probably worse than ours.
All making for a really crap spectacle.

Not even annoyed cause can't really complain, we didn't DESERVE to win the game.
Big 2 points to drop. And teams looking at that will look at us and think, we can have them.
Arsenal would have won comfortably against us today.

Szobo needs a spell on the bench, complete and utter passenger 1st half. As good as he started the season, is as poor as he is now.
Nunez has gone back to being bambi on stilts with the ball.
Mo's passing was sloppy and so was TAAs.

Gave Endo MOTM and Ally made important save or two again. Can't really rate the defenders they had so little to do. Though Virgil and Konate had chances from set pieces, Konate with maybe best chance of game when he turned and shot just outside 6 yard box.  Even at the end, great chance for Gapko in the air missed.

We've managed to win the previous two games not playing great, but didn't get out of jail today.

Maybe should just chalk it off as just one of those days.
But next time out against Arsenal will tell us more about how we stack up against the top couple of teams right now. Just hope we can put in a better performance for that one.

They had a plan to sit and block and frustrate us which worked perfectly. Whatever plan we had didn’t work but it seems like so many players are off the boil at the minute . Take the point and move on . We haven’t played well for a while now and I strongly believe that Andy Robertson’s injury is the main reason .
