No one is ever gonna be more successful than Klopp for us. Klopp was world class before he joined and he elevated us. Only few managers on that level exist and one of them is the manager of Man City.
You do know we have had more successful periods than the one under Klopp as good as he’s been , trophy wise nobody touches Bob .

How far back do you go as regards to supporting us, can you not remember the great managers we have had before Jürgen arrived, a tad disrespectful I think.

In the 21st century, so far Klopp has been our best manager. More like our modern Shankly. elevated us from a mediocre side to one of the best in Europe

Okay Arne, Jürgen has laid the foundations now it's up to you to put the roof on it. To paraphrase an old saying at Anfield.

Bill Shankly laid the foundations for the success at the club, Bob's record of winning silverware as manager was certainly unique.

As for Safegate? What else can I say that’s I’ve not already said? He’s currently got a side capably of winning a World Cup but we never see those performances on the pitch. He simply can’t get the best out of them because he hasn’t got the noun to do it in my opinion, let’s hope I’m wrong.
More later I’m off out. As Arne!! would say!! I’ll be back!  :lmao:

What 'noun' would you suggest Keith?

      Which team?

Pep would never manage England. Spain only for him if he was arsed.

The England team mate. We’re capable of winning the Euros or World Cup with this team if we had Klopp or Pep in charge.

Amorim apologising to the Sporting fans for having talks with West Ham - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cnkewd1z79xo

So looks like he was basically so cocky that he was coming to us that he thought he could use West Ham to boost his negotiating hand. When we weren't impressed and ended our interest he's dropped W Ham like a radioactive dogshit and gone running back to Sporting asking for forgiveness.

      Character-wise, looks like we've dodged a bullet.

Certainly was. Will probably be a thread discussing Klopp's place on the managerial ladder. I will nominate my top 5 but this sort of anti climatic ending to the season won't have tarnished his legacy.

Given recent history and Edwards/Hughes coming on board, I would expect us to be quite disciplined in who we sign this summer. Unless there are Feyenoord players who are already on our radar it would surprise me if our transfer strategy made allowances for Slot to bring in players he has previously worked with, as some managers like to do.
