We've established there are lots of bald Dutch managers. The real question is, whose time is it to shine...

I know and every man and his dog. 😂 I ignore media now, what will be will be. Can’t see anybody out there at the moment that fits your club or mine.

The guy you've got right now is a perfect fit.

Is that how it’s going to be now

Ten Haag is a poor manager so all Dutch managers must be poor

It’s a sh*t league though, and Ajax are in disrepair so there is total vacuum there at the moment. Uninspiring if this happens. Armorim’s achievements are more credible imho. It’s a commendable achievement to break the Benfica-Porto domination in Portugal. His credentials are much better for me. Added to which, his knowledge of the Portuguese market would also be an advantage. You cannot say the same for the Dutch league.

Slot has done well on a low budget. I suspect that's one of the reasons he's in the frame, as well as being good at developing young talent. They've got to fit within the culture of the club.

I think Amorim dallying with West Ham is a bit strange if he really is intent on a top job. That looks like someone using the process as a negotiating tactic, possibly for the best contractual terms. Even if it's not, it's just not a good look associating yourself with them if you want to manage a club like Liverpool. Totally different stratosphere.

All this speculation, none of us which we have any control over, so why get your knickers all worked up!!

Bet they find someone not even mentioned before.

Can we just go back to concentrating on Jürgen's last 5 games and get back to this later?

Not sure how to feel about all of this

. Big news story on derby day, will it affect anyones mindset later?

. Dont know anything about him so feel somewhat deflated, but yet Id normally take the view of give him a chance to show me what he brings

Will he attract top players? Lets assume tge clubs reputation covers that

Dutch league can be classed as average but over the years has produced excellent players, teams and coaches, he may well be another

      Alternatives??

At thid stage I think Amorim is Barce bound

Slot may well fit in well, I am sure all Kopites will give him a fair chance.

An almost impossible task to follow Jürgen, but there again someone has to take on, this awesome challenge.

Got to admit I’d never heard of this fella before, but then I’m not a avid follower of Dutch football so I wouldn’t, if indeed we are as a club interested in his services then I’m sure due diligence would have been spent sounding the fella out,
Does this then mean we have given up on Amorim or are we looking at other options as a alternative, I’ve been thinking about who could come in as a short term solution rather than say a five year gamble, lots of names being banded about like that cnut Mourinho, that kind of high end manager, and I came up with Bielsa, off the top of my head, he’s quality, knows the game inside out and back to front, plays a attacking style of football and certainly ticks a few boxes,
Would/could he be a good short term solution, say for a couple of seasons, steady the ship and get us in shape, not many out there with his experience and knowledge is there ??

      Thoughts ??

Every top manager was a nobody at some point.

And this ‘nobody’ has a league title playing good football to his name already.

And also let’s be honest - every single viable candidate for the job was going to be a massive gamble after Klopp.

Just got to get behind him in the summer and be positive.

I'm not gonna hide my feelings. This feels underwhelming and I'm pretty sure most people felt this way even in non twitter places. I will support him but going from Klopp to this is super underwhelming when we have players nearing their end of their contracts. I'm keeping my expectations for next season low because the loss of Klopp might be huge, hopefully we secure a top 4 spot and build from there.
