All around poor effort. If they can’t see the significance of this game, and the need to at least play an alert game for 90+ minutes - you just have to wonder

Not great today , the defending was a bit comical at times but even so , taking defenders off was probably not the best move.
Don’t think anyone shone today , maybe Gomez or Jones and Jota never gives up.
Might be a blessing getting this defeat because they all looked pissed off rather than defeated and that’s what you want from players .

Well F**k. Day started off badly when I learnt that Bradley and Szobo were gone from this match and it just got worse.

Can I blame them for that performance? In the  context of not having those two and Nunez not starting it was skew whiff from the very beginning. In an attacking sense we were poor.

Jota suffered quite blatantly from having two clowns beside him in Diaz and Gakpo. Both are mid table quality at best. Jones - one of his poorest, impotent displays. Can see JD*s reasoning of not being able to perform against big teams right there.

Largely self inflicted,  really nothing in it until the Ali, vvd F**k up. Just looked to lack energy. No need for major recriminations.  Arsenal celebrating their title win, embarrassing bunch.

People will obviously pick on certain players but the reality is

      Alisson - sh*te
      Trent - sh*te
      Konate - extra sh*te
      Van Dijk - sh*te
      Gomez - sh*te
      Mac - sh*te
      Jones - sh*te
      Gravenberch - extra sh*te
      Gakpo - sh*te
Jota - did he play? I’m sure he was sh*te if he did
      Diaz - sh*te
      Nunez - sh*te
      Robbo - sh*te
      Elliott - sh*te
Thiago - don’t know if he touched it but bet it was sh*te if he did

Go against next weekend and be less sh*te lads.

All a bit much from Arsenal at FT.

This result means we have to rack up some wins before City.

Agree Gravenberch was sh*te today but people forget he's only 21 so for me he gets a pass this season. The young lad definitely has talent some players take time here to unlock their potential.

Just a rotten weekend. But it happens. City smiling. But overall Arsenal dominated us, they were better in all three matches, something to study for Alonso for next season.

City play twice before we play again. Having to win both and still be 2 points behind would have made it more difficult. They'll beat Brentford and Everton so I guess we will need to beat Burnley to go 2 points clear again having played a game more.

I’m not sure what it was, tired legs from the hectic schedule we had but just thought we were very timid

All we kept doing was passing backwards

Its games like these you need your big players but the big guns were missing for us

If we can get salah and sob back then we can bounce back

Issue was first how bad our midfield was today, it really is not the sort you go away from home when expecting to defend a lot

I thought Trent was absolutely disgraceful today, I’ve always defended him but not today. His work ethic and will power to run back to defend was shocking. All he did was stay out wide and didn’t contribute going forward or defending wise

      Endo, dom
And Salah really improve this team

Did Arsenal deserve to win? Yes, they created far more chances. Hopefully
This is a wake up call for vvd and Ali, both let the team down

You may want to get tested. Something’s wrong.
Don't think so, too casual, did the same last week v Norwich for that long shot. He's a great defender but has this greater than thou attitude.

Why let that ball bounce today when it was there to head away.

Well... wasn't confident before ... but expected a better showing really.
Virg had a mare of a game but blame can't be all his.
Forgot Trent was on the pitch TBH. Not one of his better games either.
Konates first yellow wasnt a yellow and now a ban.
Off the pace, no pressing, no desire and certainly some terrible passing. Think what hurts most is the way we were bullied and outplayed in the middle.
Know in the overall scheme of things this is just one game but......

I agree. Arsenal has proven to lay an egg once in a while. This loss is about City taking back advantage. Arsenal is a contender only on paper.

      Well OTT

Spurs were the same when they beat us with 9 men in GW7 or whatever it was and all the players kids came on the pitch as if they'd won a cup.

Must be a North London thing

If Arsenal and their manager want to celebrate like that then fair enough. The only thing it shows is their own insecurities about being serious enough to win the league.
