Play like that and we won't win many. That was simply awful. I hope Jürgen is asking them if they want to win the f*cking league? Because if they do we can't afford another performance like that

Klopp should take some blame for this result IMO.

      - Starting Gakpo ahead of Nunez for tactics, they had their way with us on that flank so not sure what the aim was.

      - Gravenberch starting, again no idea what the play was there, he was abysmal.

      - Not making the changes at half-time when it was abundantly clear we needed to have certain players OFF.

      - Taking Trent off instead of letting him go into midfield which we know has changed games before.

      People forget, we had

Our main lb, rb, dm, cm and two main strikers out

      Our perfect team has

Robo, Bradley, Endo, sob, Salah and Nunez

Whilst Arsenal were pretty much at full strength yet we gifted them the win

When we get everyone back, you will us on fire

Life isn’t perfect. We won’t win every match. But strangely some of us do think City is.

Very hard to pick a MOTM, thought we were as bad today as we were good last week.

Prob go for Mac as my MOTM, Grav was non-existent 1st half, and Jones was quieter than he has been, but thought Mac worked hard, got tackles in etc.

First half Konate was back to looking poor, because TAA at RB was nowhere to be found as usual a lot of the time.  In fairness he's coming back from a layoff. But need to seriously think about what we want from RB in the future, Bradley was shoring up RB, and we were looking a lot more solid in general. Just feels like its too easy to get us on the backfoot when TAA there, in games like this when 'defending'  is more important than creating from that position.

Up front, we never looked like scoring, maybe best chance was in the first minute when Jota was thro and had a heavy touch off his knee instead of maybe hitting it first time.

Missing too many starters, Bradley, Szobo, Mo, Endo and playing guys who are not quite at it. Elliot for me is not up to playing these big games, just runs around and passes backward, and why the hell is he on the right when he constantly has to check and come back inside when a first time cross would be much better option, and we end up with a weak cross or backpass.

Still, Ali and VVD making a complete F***ing mess of a simple situation summed up the day.

Easy to say put it behind you and go again.  And that what we need to do.  What else can we do.
But we're not in a title race with Arsenal, we're in it with Citeh.
And we know for a fact that that can go on a 10 game winning run at this stage of the season.
      Deja F***ing vu.

Deserved that. Only Diaz running his legs off and Mac putting in a shift deserve any credit.
The passing wasn’t crisp and the physical effort was lacking.
Arsenal made up they’ve beaten our depleted side. They’ll lose a few more. So will shitty.
Think we’ll reload and go again.
      Still win the prem 👍

Mac was good early but his performance soon failed as for Diaz all he wanted to do is take Arsenal players on and loose the ball

To many changes to a winning side, I will understand against Fulham away but we played at the Emirates.
Bradley's mourning the passing of his dad, Szobo is out through injury and Nunez had his foot in a protective boot after the end of last game. Don't see a way we start this game without those changes to the lineup.

Personally I w would've started Elliott in instead of Gravenberch, but the changes were unavoidable.

Edit: Also this wasn't an individual performance or two type of problem we saw today. That was the whole team having a day off, including the manager. We went into this game off our regular pace and tactically off of it. Nothing was working from minute 1 and it stayed pretty much like that until the end.

Really don’t think it had anything to do with klopp. He wanted to keep us in the game and be compact and solid. Which we were, but then our two
Most senior pros made mistakes and it through everything out of the window

We may have won the game if vvd or Ali cleared that ball imo with a weakened team

We may have, but we wouldn't have deserved it at all, we didn't play our game at all with that starting line up and then the changes made/when they were made.

Certainly. He’d be the first to say blame him for the result and leave his players alone. I’m sure VVD and Ali would also put their hands up for the blame as well.

I think we’ve found Jürgen’s replacement. If he’s that good, come do the job and win us the title.

Thought we were unlucky on both the goals. Ali's kick clipped Virg's hip for the first, and then the ball took a wee deflection off Virg to go thru Ali's legs for the second.

Can't really complain though as the performance just wasn't really there. We were very lucky to be level at HT. Second half was better but still not great.

Title is still very much on. Not sure how much it was down to some players being out and how much down to just a bad day. Mostly the latter I guess. We seemed to be trying to slow the game down in the first half, presumably to quieten the crowd, but it just took all the rythm out of our play and we never really got it back.

Bad day but still well in the mix for the title.

The people who signed him and Gakpo are leaving the club. I don't think the new manager is going to tolerate his half arsed performances and I understand why the people at Bayern didn't as well

I think it's a cultural thing. I feel ypu would say the same about VVD if he wasn't great. Cody is really quiet and nonchalant too.... Just seems to be a trait I've seen a lot on this generation of Dutch players. It's quite commendable really.

I think his issue is he doesn't fit to what we do here.... Not good enough atm
