With a win we can be superior to ManU in trophies overall. Right now it is a tie at 67 titles. That will make the game actually more important to me.

I really hope one of Salah and Nunez can be available today. The danger for us is that without them Chelsea can play a high line, press our back four and force Kelleher into the poor distribution we saw mid-. Salah and/or Nunez give you an out ball and have to be respected for their pace. It's hard to execute that strategy when they are in the side.

I'm also hoping to see young Bradley popping inside to midfield a'la Trent, we were so much better in the 2nd half on Wednesday when he did this. In fact i'd even go as far as playing him in midfield ahead of Gravenburch and playing gomez at RB. I don't think Klopp will do this but I'm confident he could do it.

Fancy us to win this even with our injuries. Our defence and midfield are still better than theirs. And our 2nd string attackers are scoring more goals than their first string.

Been built up bigger than a normal League Cup final. North V South element to it. Pochettino loses and his season could fizzle out. 10th in the league. Needs this win badly to really get some street cred with the fans and to please co-ownerTodd Boehly.

No chance. Hope not anyway. He's a captain on the pitch. Great character, leader. Defensively sound. Superb going forward. Best LB in the world for me. You don't leave players like that out of finals.

But obviously it wasn't right and Dom wasn't right either a few weeks ago with similar results to Mo.

Nunez , he was taken off as a precaution but as per it seems there was more to it. He hadn't trained as of Friday morning so I don't see how he can prove his fitness either.

It's too much of a risk and as much as I'd like to win today, bigger challenges are to come. Very young bench today. Maybe someone will make themselves a hero.

well this is my point. its hard not to be concerned that another player has come back and had another issue straightaway.
