Utd draw Coventry in the semis as well!

Absolute nap, almost like they want an all manc final.

Frustrating. Especially as they weren't great just took their chances.

That's what frustrates we shot ourselves in the foot sometimes you get beat by a better team but wasn't the case we have lost that and can only look.at our own deficiencies at both ends of the pitch on this occasion

Well that’s their cup final this year - our worst performance of the season

Concentrate on the other two now

I'd feel worse if we'd been unlucky or cheated by the officials again. (The ref was actually good today.)

We got what we deserved. The quality of our passing and decision making, especially in the final third wasn't good enough all game. We had loads of good situations and wasted them by taking too long or playing a sh*t pass. So we actually created very few good chances. 2 of our goals were deflections, so we had plenty of luck but still couldn't get the job done against a team that were there for the taking in the second half.

We seemed to run out of energy in extra time, which I was a bit surprised at. But I guess having played on Thursday it's not so surprising. Going so strong in that game maybe hurt us a bit today, we were definitely off it, especially in extra time.

The big prizes are still the league and the UEFA cup. We need to take the hurt from this one, kick out that bit of complacency that we still seem to have, where we think we are just going to win without needing to really be on it, and go on and put everything into the last 2 competitions.

The lad’s had to deal with losing his father, think we can cut him some slack.

Correct but the last few games have been a struggle. Preferably he wouldn't have to keep playing but Joey was really bad today and deserved the hook.

Hopefully Trebt back after the break.

I can cope with losing, just, if we’ve been outplayed and done our best, but not when we lose like that, we were the better team but we just threw it away, I’m struggling to cope with it, especially against them. We’ve now got 2 weeks to deal with it, don’t read the press tomorrow.

Bang on. At times in that 2nd half felt get a third, that game would become safe. After Elliott scored I wanted another, but we just allowed them back in.

Sort the heads out for the league game.

Been shocking for a while. Same nonexistent product as Diaz with 1/4 the effort.

I've been wrong before but he does not look like the quality we should be aiming for.

Remember it and ensure we at least use the disappointment to fuel.the fire for the league game.

Playing a stupidly strong team in a dead game less than 3 days before this one did us no favors either. We cause our own problems sometimes. Just like the konate situation which could have been avoided.

Hopefully like the last time, lose the cup game, win the league game!

Before the game, if we had to lose one, it would have been this one. But still tough to take.

The attitude lost us that game in the 2nd half. The 5 on 2 ... like the 5 on 2 against arsenal ... blew it. We just gifted them the game. Got to stew on that for 2 f*cking weeks now.

How many injuries will we pick up between now and Brighton.

Just win the premier league fixture at Old Trafford, and this game will be a lot easier to swallow.

Not an easy task I know

Just heard the draw, obviously no complaints. Like I said sad as it is, it was our Cup final against our biggest rivals in football so impossible to complain. Lost my voice some what but it’s lifted me up immensely. 🙂

The noisy neighbours will still win it and you’ll life the Europa Cup so still won’t be a great season. With a bit of luck I’ll get it wrong. 😂

Chelsea poseurs....could take a dive or get mauled in the final. Think we threw it away a bit today. We'll be back in a few weeks and do a proper job..

If it came to pass that it is a City v United final.....I might cut the bleedin' grass..

As Huyton the team still in transition and some.players probably wouldn't be there without our injuries but have to.manage games better . Don't like comparing but City just kill that off with a 3rd possibly 4th . Got to learn and use our brains a little.more at both ends
