Quite a lot of changes by the looks in the Atalanta team.  Not sure why.  Have they rested some players?

Im sure the commentator on the station I watched last week said they were missing a few regulars, maybe thats them back?

No matter what anyone says Ill not get my head around Jota not starting. Surely our most likely player to take his chances?

Without stating the obvious we need to score first & early and keep it tight as a crabs arse at the back.

Jota has just returned from a long term injury, can’t expect the fella to give 100% just yet, so it’s wise to hold him back so he can give what he can give in the latter stages of this particular game,

Salah needs to pull his head out of his arse tonight of all nights and give us what we have come to except from him the last few seasons, Nunez dropped to the bench is the correct decision giving the opportunity for Gakpo to put down a marker, Lucho is vital too, he can run and run at their defence and is capable himself of finding the onion bag, massive difference will be Trent bombing forward, likewise Robbo on the opposite flank, we know what we get from Macca but both Szlobo & Jones need to step up too,

I think we can turn the tables on this lot by gegenpressing the sh*te out of them, they man marked us out of the game last week, but they won’t be allowed to do the same this time, we were in truth caught with our pants down and believe we under estimated them, In short they over ran our midfield and worked their nads off to stop us playing,

First thing we need to do is be completely solid at the back, 4 goals inside 90 odd mins is perfectly achievable, we simply cannot afford to concede another, simples !!

Look, it’s not likely but I want us going out with a bang, this could be Jürgen’s last European tie as Boss so I’m hoping the boys give their all and leave F**k all on that pitch at the final whistle!!

It's their strongest side with the exception of Miranchuk in for Pasalic and Scalvini who's been injured for a few weeks now.

We don't know the full SP on Jota, fitness wise. Looks like we going to keep it tight and try to get a lead by HT. Then try and take it on from there.

Not the gung ho, up and at 'em line up, many were predicting, me included. Jones just getting back to full speed and Dom hasn't done a lot since he came back. They won't be chasing the game so we might have to be patient and hope that if we create a decent chance, we can convert it.
