Cody..MOTM.....can he leave him out for Wolves..
He’s brilliant and hasn’t disappointed whenever called upon this season but Diaz is an animal right now. Both players are making their point but I’m taking Diaz for what it’s worth.

Never a 5-1 game, but job done,  other players getting game time, and hopefully no injuries .

But once Mac came on and we went to a more strict 4-3-3 we took control and Gakpo just went into overdrive.

Cody Gakpo....it's his strength on the ball and still going at them in the last 10 minutes is a big plus. Showing the same ferocious strength right up to the final whistle is very difficult to defend against.

On the Jones front. He should be showing that desire a lot more. Content to knock it on but when he does go more positive he is much more effective. If he wants in he'll have to produce, no more staying on the peripheral of the action.

Thought the Endo-Jones axis worked pretty well. When Mac came on and Jones moved higher up it actually disrupted us for a bit. Mo's goal came at a good time cos they were causing us problems at that stage.

Hard to pick a MOTM. Maybe Jones.

Have to say it was nice to have a game without VAR. You just know that those West Ham non-penalties would have been scrutinised to the nth degree and the ref would have been called over for one of them and then he'd have caved. Was good to have the flow of the game maintained as well.

A great and handsome win. Much changed side, similar scoreline against the Hammers again in the Milk Cup. That'll do..

Hammers bubbles well and truly burst. Lopetegui looks like a stroppy c*nt...he won't be there at the end of the season.

Did not see the game, although five goals, after tricky start, very decent result.

Only second half and they came at us and he was up against Bowen and Antonio late on but not his best game.

The performance for the most part was pretty drab, first half was very boring. Defensively we looked panicky all game. 2nd half was much better and improved drastically once Mo and Mac came on. Perhaps expected with the amount of changes.

All 5 goals were well taken. Gakpo's first was my favourite.

      Brighton away next round.....great.

Yes no VAR probably helped us.Cody looked off for our first goal. Maybe the Gomez pen claim might've seen the Ref go to the monitor. But no matter, 5-1 wasn't a fair reflection but we were worth at least 2 goals better than Wham.

We well and truly burst their bubble tonight didn't we, after a bit of a blip at the beginning we took hold of the game and showed our class.

Good to see some of the fringe players getting a run out and some very nice goals from the squad of players Arne can pick from. a nice start to our defence of this trophy.

Well done lads, Brighton up next, pity it wasn't at home but  you can't have everything and the Wolves will be dreading meeting us at the weekend  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:
