Expecting changes for this one, not sure if Jaros will start or if Bradley will be fit enough to start but just picking what I’d go with. Would have been nice to be able to rest a few lads but not sure Slot will want to take many youngsters.

Double header V Brighton but I wouldn't play too many. Put out a competitive 11...more of a distraction than anything. Upping the number of C/L games pushes the League cup further down the priority list.

Home or away, these are gonna be testing games. As Arne said, there are no easy games in the prem, unless of course it suits your agenda.
Just don't need to make too many changes. The carabao might not be top of the list, but winning breads winning. Keep it strong, and keep the momentum.

Not expecting Bradley or Harvey to be ready for this.

This game just feels like a pain in the arse when we're fighting at the top.

Love to see him play too but i honestly can see him going back to italy on loan in january. Something is certainly going on i believe. I doubt you will see much of him over the next 8 weeks.

He has had 2 or 3 injury setbacks already and i dont think its going to work out. The fact nobody would touch him for 10m is telling.

Three big games at Anfield in the space of a week coming up after this so we need to be sensible with the team selection with this one. Unfortunately the two injuries up top means we'll be needing a fair few minutes out of the three that will start at the weekend.

The squad actually looks a bit thin right now with Elliott, Jota, Bradley, Chiesa, Ali all out. The games are coming thick and fast and we can ill afford any more. I’d promote some of the youngsters for this one. Certainly Nyoni, I don’t know if we have another right/back who could step up? I’d prefer VVD and Ibou to rest up for this one.

Like you I'd prefer Virgil and Konate to sit this out of possible.

Back in the day Milner likely would have slotted into RB.  Player like him is so valuable.

Our summer really was great wasn’t it? Who could have foreseen a time when 4 players would be injured? Chiesa was a nice idea but it’s now clear he’s not going to be of any use until much later in the season (if at all)

Seen a couple Boro games, he's pretty much playing like he did for us during the pre-season before last terrorising full backs....it'll be new to their fans as they haven't seen anyone like him in a good while, certainly not someone still in their teen years.

More concerned with the weekends game. Win or lose tomorrows cup game, I’m  more concerned about additional injuries.

Pity that Jayden Danns has had big injury problems. Serious back injury. He was coming along great, had scored but now he's fighting to recover. Hope is he'll be fit enough to go on loan in January.

I didnt know that about Danns. Was impressed with him last season so thats such a pity. Hopefully he gets back soon.
