      And we go again

A chance to go 10 points clear before Arsenal play again. Villa are a good side well capable of causing us problems, but similar to us are not having a great spell

I actually think playing a top side away is probably a good thing as I think it focuses everyone more then maybe playing a bottom 3 side would

Only change Id consider would be in the mid where I think Grav could do with a rest...either Endo in or Jones as hes played Gravs role previously

Think id stick with Jota as our central striker and lucho out left

4 points from the next 6 would be huge and in that scenario I think that needs 3 here

      Ali

      Trent Konate VVD Robbo

           Mac Jones Dom

             Mo  Jota Diaz

Hopefully Gakpo back as an option from the bench

We have a set of 3 tough fixtures  twice remaining.   We have this one and then around the Arsenal game where we play them, Spurs and Chelsea in a row.   We need the mentality monster back now for this first set of fixtures.  Every win is a nail in the coffin for Arsenal hopes which in its self will make them crumble under pressure.  One game at a time.  We really need to go at these from the start they having low spell and we need to really grab the game from the scuff of the neck.

All the fixtures are tough now....just no way of knowing how we're going to play at the moment. Over the last 3 games we've struggled to create enough opportunities to score with the opposition keepers having fairly easy games. Far too much reliance on Mo.

We need to use Jones somehow in this game, as the entire midfield looked tired in the 2nd half. If we get a lead we can't hesitate to bring Endo in to help us see it out. He was big yesterday, and what we were missing on Wednesday. I'd also bring Tsimi in for Robbo. 3 games in 7 days is too much for him. 3 points would be huge and would relieve a bit of pressure of Sundays game.

If you're refreshing the midfield it's Jones for Gravenberch. Grab played the most football this season.

      Allison

      Trent      Konate      Virgil      Robertson

      MacAllister        Jones

      Salah            Szoboszlai            Diaz

      Jota

He is the one that looked the freshest. I would play him instead Mac Allister.

We need to play much better than the last two marches.

I thought Mac looked leggy in the 2nd half. Grav rested in the Derby. I'd go Grav, Jonesy, and Szobo.

Ah I missed the game and was just going on how many games he's played.

Probably moot as I think Arne will go same again.

You are probably right, but i dunno if he can keep doing that. We have some guys who are starting to look tired. He needs to trust the squad. Nunez, Endo, Jones, Bradley, and Quansah need to be trusted to help get us over the hump.

      Endo Grav
      Szobo
      Salah Nunez Diaz

Read somewhere Villa have 1 clean sheet in their last 15 games & also have 5-6 players out injured, saw them against Ipswich and must say I wasn't that impressed until the last 10-15 when they turned the screw. I think these can be got at but we'll have to play a whole lot better than we have recently.

Tzimikas and possibly Bradley will come In and Jones definitely start but for who ? Gakpo probably only makes the bench and Toss up between Jota and Nunez

No, don't know that the club has responded to his charge yet so I don't think he would miss this game, probably the City game I'm guessing.

Hes got till the day of the match to accept or contest the charge. If he accepts it i suspect he will be given an immediate ban ruling him out of villa/cheaty115

Sounds ok. I’d also go Gakpo for Diaz if he’s fit, and start Bradley for Trent.

Liverpool are at their best when they play with speed. Other teams usually can’t cope with this. Had enough of the slow, side to side sh*te.
