The goalkeeper is named in the Reds’ XI for the Premier League fixture, with Alisson Becker missing out on the matchday squad.

Curtis Jones also comes into the line-up for the Merseyside derby, with just one change made to the team deployed last time out against Newcastle United on March 16.

Sadly Quansah is so robotic at right back this might have had to be done. Mainly going forward.

We cannot hear next season that 'Quansah can play there' as a defence for not signing a right back.

I dont understand why Gakpo is not in the team. I really dont. Looked back to his best in the reason dutch games. Thats my complaint with this selection. Another chance for Diaz. Hoping he comes to the party. Same goes for Jota.

Hopefully Curtis Jones isn't as birdbrained as he was in the last derby.  Prepared for the worst but hoping for the best.
