Are we still one of top two when group stage is over? Is this dupe to think? We've done it before, can we do it again? After a crap season in the norwegian league and six years without winning on home ground in the group phase before this week, can the guys still play out the best in the team, as they did against Valencia, and prove that Rosenborg are and always will be Norways (and Scandinavias) best team!?
Joining the best of the bests in the knockout rounds again would be awesome! Theres no pressure or real expectation in achievement, just naive hope around the extra bonus this stage in the Champions League will be.
Personal Id love it! It would mean more great teams from Europe to visit Lerkendal, and norwegian football would get a real boost. But third spot after group stage would mean Uefa cup, and I think Rosenborg can accomplish more there...
Still... Knocking out lets say... the scum!! at Lerkendal.... ah... my wet dream! hehe
So what do you guys think??
I assume you all follow Rosenborg in the Champions League veeery closely
(Maybe youll say some of these numbers above belong in the "Are these results for real?!?"-thread, hehehe...)
