Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is planning a move for Real Mallorca midfielder Juan Arango.
The Venezuela international can play on the left-side of midfield and also centrally and DiarioSport says Benitez had him watched this week in Copa del Rey action against Osasuna.

Arango holds a Spanish passport and has endured a testing time with Mallorca fans this season, having only won back their support in recent months.  

Sounds dodgy.

I'm seriously wondering if this site should be banned for transfer rumours, pretty much every player is linked with evey club on there, they never seem to have one shred of truth in any of their rumours.

Real Mallorca ace Juan Arango admits he is flattered to be linked with a move to Liverpool.



Reports emanating from Spain suggest Reds boss Rafa Benitez is keeping tabs on the highly-rated Venezuelan.


Arango has enjoyed a fine season for Mallorca and Benitez is believed to see him as a creative player to boost his attacking options at Anfield.


The 27-year-old insists he has not heard anything from Liverpool, but would be interested in a move to Merseyside.


He said: "I have been told some things but I really didn't know what was happening. For saying the truth, I am very happy that such a big team like Liverpool is speaking about me.


"They play the Champions League, they are one of the giants in the world.


"I would like very much to have the chance to play at Liverpool.


"Maybe if I keep on having good performances at Mallorca and the national team the coach decides to count with me in the future. You never know where football can take you to."

I seen him play and he is quality.  Everything the Mallorca team does goes through Arrango.

yeh he's been good the two times i've seen him play. But i don't think he'll sign with us.

always heard Rafa interested in this player or that player!! but never come true!!!!!  please American bosses!! take the money out to shop some quality player!!!! Dont keep it as your own interest, sell in or Fully commit in LFC!! Dont hang it half way!
