Heard the 1st half, saw the 2nd and here are my feelings based on tonight's result.
Benny was in amongst it to cause the chaos from which the 1st goal came, important goals in important games... ala Luis Garcia!
Mascherano played his socks off tonight and on the whole is is one of our better players this season - we should get him signed ASAP. Sell Sisoko and fund the Mascherano purchase. NOW!
Crouchy, as I have said many times, is a fantastic striker and should start much more often. In tonight's after match interview he said he was instructed to "go and cause some problems". He did as he has done so many times before and in my mind is worthy of starting as a 1st choice striker, not a sub.
Well done Crouchy for making a vital impact when it mattered, great technique and a cracking goal!
Reina was not at fault for either goal, a good finish from Harewood and a jammy OG.
Still the best keeper in the country for me and heading towards his 50th clean sheet for Liverpool.
Sami Hyppia had his finger on the pulse, reading the game brilliantly - a great asset to he team.
Well done the Koppites for making the collective voice of Liverpool fans seen and heard on TV, a message drilled home to the 2 clowns
in charge! A point that will have been noted too by the DIC who are still keen according to 5 live's news bulletin, let's hope there's plenty of truth in that!
Not the best performances tonight from Torres or Gerrard but they are human and have done the business in many a match before now... so I'll leave it at that.
The referee kept getting in the way around the penalty box
Move out the way you muppet!
Anfield seemed pretty quiet in the 2nd half - mind you Vills's 2 goals took the wind out of our sails I expect.
Dirk Kuyt. You can run all day and all night but goals count. Composure in front of goal matters and when you have no chance of scoring from an impossible angle don't shoot. A complete waste of effort.
Your redeeming quality on the night was the pass to Yossi from which he scored.
TV cameras showed armfuls of fans leaving before the match was over, I don't like to see that.
Glad Crouchy scored after they left, that'll teach them to turn their backs on their team!
Draw number 10 this season, the 6th at home. 20 points dropped, 14 behind the leaders with the top 3 to play, away. Not good enough to win the league, that is a point I hate having to admit. The fact we have to now wait for other teams to trip up and drop points is a clear indication that despite our best start to a season for years we can not maintain it over a long campaign. We have to rely on cups for silverware. That saddens me as a passionate Liverpool fan. :'(
Keep going Boss, I wouldn't like to be in your shoes but your doing a good job. Results are a combined effort of selection and performances. It can't be easy to work in that kind of environment so you have my support and that of may, many a Liverpool fan too.
