Yeah. Fed up of reading that they are a surprise package and underdogs. They have an excellent bowling  lineup and are led by the brilliant kane williamson

Excellent but won on boundaries should be because England took a wicket in super over, madness them rules.

Amazing game.Probably the best white ball game ever.England won it in the end by virtue of scoring more boundaries. Ties used to be decided on number of wickets. But the rules were the same for both. Thought England had left the charge an over or so late but Stokes somehow got us thru to tie score.Got the run of the ball so to speak but overall England are the best white ball team in the world.

Then the do or die super over was a tie as well.Unbelievable altogether.Great tournament all round.Bring on the ashes.

Could not believe what i saw yesterday, what an amazing game and the Kiwis must feel gutted.

It was just meant to be, especially when the ball hit Stokes bat for the extra 4 runs.

Well done England and let's hope LFC continue the picking up of silverware.

Crazy game, just like Liverpool England made that as hard to win as possible but massive credit to NZ, outstanding bowling and fielding.

BTW whoever managed to schedule the F1, tennis and cricket all on the same day, at the same time wants shooting, surely Sky Sports could have had a word and pushed one of the three forwards or back by one day.

Make sure the Somerset players stay off the scrumpy if they want to win anything. Make sure the Aussies don't have any sandpaper in their pockets if you want to win the ashes.Make sure you put a few bob on Liverpool winning the league this season and other silverware.

Tottaly agree, at one stage was watching greyhound racing on iPhone, tennis and cricket  on TV, F1 on iPad  :lmao:

Watched the last few overs and the superover when I got home last night.

NZ must be gutted, that ball that was thrown in by the outfielder, hits Stokes' bat and goes to the boundary for 4.  6 runs when it should have only been 2. That was the World Cup right there!

Yes that was incredibly unlucky, but I fancy Stokes would have found another boundary if he had needed to, rather than just scramble a few runs in the last few balls after that.

We've been on both sides before. That marginal lucky and unlucky feeling... We all understand that. Similar to those sudden death shootout. Very fine margins.

Boom! That's because you're a closet Liverpool supporter!!! Ok or a lfcreds supporter to cut you some slack and to be technically correct.  :f_tongueincheek:

Thanks for being happy for us when we won number six! Likewise, I'd be happy for you too... just you... In some sort of similar fashion. Still love-hate. You know what I mean...
