Winning clubs will receive £120,000 from The FA


The FA Cup Fifth Round will be made at Soho Square on Monday, as clubs are paired in the last sixteen of the competition.

FA Director of Football Development Sir Trevor Brooking will host the draw, while the balls will be picked out by former Liverpool and Manchester United FA Cup heroes Jimmy Case and Ray Wilkins.

I want West Brom, their fans are going on about how great it all is, how they are unbeatable, and would love to thump them down to earth. Finnan might score again.

I would be quite happy if we draw lower league teamsfor the next 2 rounds and the semi final.It will not matter who else scrapes through to play us at Wembley.This is going to be our year.

 According to B.B.C. Sport the draw for the F.A.Cup will be made by Jimmy Case and Ray Wilkins.If Jimmy cant swing us a good draw no one can.I suppose Ferguson will cry foul if we get a soft touch at home.

We got Barnesly woots another cheap day out for me yehaaaa 25 quid a ticket rocks..

hopefully the scum & arse will draw, both having two players sent off in both games and the arse winning on penalties

Hasn't the FA Cup draw been nice and favourable to Liverpool FC? I love it that we are meeting with Barnsley

Don't want to sound negative but i have just emigrated to Spain from Barnsley after living there for over 40yr, Simon Davey has got a good team doing great things on a shoestring budget, lots of foriegn players working their bollocks off ! I predict a much harder game than the two against Luton and H&W.
I also remember that 11 yr ago they beat us in the premiership at Anfield !
That said, it was 11yr ago And i believe we have a lot better team than we had back then and we will win this one , i'm just wanting to warn the fans  that this game is not a forgone conclusion !

Barnsley have shipped a lot of goals in the Championship this season & won only once away but as we all know the FA Cup is something a little different Still think it's an easy tie though...

Isnt this what the FA is all about? The Premier League sides getting a ride for their money from lower opposition? Barnsley will be stoked to be playin at Anfield and i know our supporters will make them feel welcome and walk away with good spirits after a 5-0 knockin'.

Nice one we should see them off comfortably,I used to chant the Barnsley managers name Simon Davey many years ago when he played for my local side Carlisle Utd.

Gotta be sometime soon matey, the games in two weeks time.  Probably in the next couple of days, it will give them time to get the phone system cranked up

  Liverpool have confirmed the date for their FA Cup fifth round clash with Barnsley. 
It will take place at Anfield on Saturday February 16, 2008, kick-off 3pm.
 
The game will not be televised live.
