Great effort for a long time and finally gets his chance, injured! Far out. I guess this says alot though, he gets into the Spanish side even when injured eh? Wonder how a fit Alvaro got over looked.

On a side note I was watching Eurosportnews yesterday and they had a caption down the bottom that said 5 LFC players are in the Spanish National squad.

Now I can think of Pepe, Arbeloa, Xabi and Torres but I can't think of the 5th. It's doing my head in. can anyone help or was it a typo?

Plays very little first team football... having said that King Luis scored a screamer on Sunday versus Murcia... must of had a decent glass of Sangria earlier in the day.

The english game (Prem) was a bit too physical for our Luis... more suited to CL european football, where the refs protected him a tad more...

Still pulled off things no one in our team even tries now. Most creative player we had in a while and he lost possesion alot because he had the balls to try new things, Went wrong alot unfortunately but when it went right boy did it go right.

When it went wrong he fustrated the sh*te out of me... and probably Rafa too I imagine.

But when it went right - all I wanted to do was drink sangria!

Yeah it was frustrating for everyone but things he did right made up for it if you ask me.

Creativity is what we lack most, no one in our team maybe bar a few players is willing to take a risk and try something spectacular often for fear of losing possesion once.

Anyway back to topic. I think arbeloa is meant to be back around the 15th of feb.

Sadly yes Alessio. His injury hasnt been able to heal in time thus missing the match.
