At last he gets some recognition. Hope he gets a start in their next match and plays well.

Congratsulations Arby, at least your national manager can recognise good talent! Unlike McClown who was for England

On a personal level I'm happy for him, but purely from a Liverpool point of view it was better for us when he got to rest during international breaks. Best of luck to him anyway, I'm sure he'll do great if given the chance.

Eddie, our national coach is completely crackers...

Raul playing the footy of his life, not a chance of getting in the squad....

...and Alvaro is actually injured at the minute...

but hey... you've got to be happy for the lad.

Yep, but he will go (retire) post Euros.

One of the names in the frame to take over (since Hicks episode) our one and very own Rafa the Gaffer.

Spanish national squad technical director (who the manager/Aragones works for) is Fernando Hierro who Rafa will have known very well from their days together within the Bernabeu set-up...

Let's hope it never happens eh...

Great to have four Liverpool lads in the squad, and an ex-red in there too.

No more than Alvo deserves, great to see any of our players getting into their national side. Shame Reina gets looked over really.

Well done Arbeloa. Fully deserved but as Edu pointed out, he's still injured isn't he.

I always worry when any player of ours is selected for national duty though...
