The boy is clearly misguided.

Serialising his autobiog in the paper which is effectively the Sunday version of The S*n is a disgrace.  He should have known better.

We can only be grateful it wasn't the weekday version....

since the world cup SG has been in the media far to much. i know more about his life than my own!

i just hope that once the campaign starts the old 'private' SG will be back with us. i'm sure he will, but i have been a little disappointed with the misguidance he has recieved.

Fat Frank is the type of ponce to pull that sh*te, I never would have expected it from stevie!

At the end of the day, what came out in the paper is in his autobiography anyway so it'd have all come out eventually. He had a book to promote... and that article made everyone aware of it. Can't see the harm myself!

I can understand this, and fact is Steven Gerrard doesn't need the money by offending a section of his diehard local Liverpool support.

I am sure there is no malice in it - just stupidity and greed - probably his agent's responsibility anyway.

stevie hasnt let me down just bit odd y hes done it... but again stevie in the media isnt that bad means he has gained confidence as a playa and a person... which i think will make him a better captain

i think our reaction to this serialisation would have been a lot different if he hadn't won us the final in cardiff this yr. How things were different for Souey. Some of us weren't really behind him as a manager and this his act was the icing on the cake.

i always thought SG was one of the more brighter lads but there is no way i can empathise with this foolish act. News of W may only be the sister of the S** but it is the sister of your enemy that holds their soul and dagger.

i must add i do love Stevie G. If not for him and rafa we would not be the greatest team again.
