Daniel Sturridge has warned Chelsea that he will not be content to sit on the bench when he returns to the club next season.

The 21-year-old has been on impressive form since his loan move to Bolton in January, scoring eight goals for the Trotters as they remain on course to finish in the top half of the table.
Sturridge will return to Stamford Bridge this summer, but faces a daunting task to establish himself in the Chelsea starting XI, with Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres and Nicolas Anelka all vying for a place up front.
But despite Chelsea's three strikers costing the club £89 million in transfer fees, Sturridge, who cost £3.5 million when he signed from Manchester City in 2009,
has scored more goals since January than the three strikers combined could manage at Chelsea.
"I love playing football for Chelsea, and I don't want to leave the club," Sturridge told Sky Sports News. "But I want to play regularly and for me next season it is very important to play first-team football.
"I want to play at Chelsea but if the chances don't come at Chelsea then I will have to look elsewhere.
"It's Chelsea's decision - it's not for me to make the decision [to move to another club], but the only decision I can make is that I want to play first-team football and that's the one I choose to take."
