Rafa's team built for next season?

This is what i think!

He has brought in 6 new players.. Gonzalez, Paletta, Bellamy, Aurelio, Pennant & Kuyt so they will take time to gell.
Also Agger hardly played last season and will also take time to gell.

I think they will all be gelled by next season & all we need next season is possibly a new CB with pace & a RB to give Finnan quality back up!

If none of our star players leave, "for sure" we will be much better next season

This is probably the best squad of players we have had for a while and probably the best set of players we have had that are capable of winnning the league.

This is our season the progress we made last season was phenomenol and i fully expect that progrss to continue all the way to the top this yr.

Good omen as omens go, but lets also not forget the numbers posted by Chelsea these days hardly leaves much room for minor slip ups, as was the case yesterday. And no to the original post, this team is not built for next season. Its built for NOW! Have faith.

1-1 was not as bad a result as people are making out. first game of the season away to sheffield united who've been out of the big league for donkeys, they were always gonna make it tough as they've got  to prove they good enough to be in the prem

We had 10 points from the first 8 games last season, and were 16 points behind Chelsea.

Let's just assess after another 7 games and see where we are then.

The Chelsea game is going to be very important in a couple of weeks.

we mite of only drawn 1 game but dat means chelsea have a head start already. I bet chelsea  wont draw 2 teams like sheff utd

they probably wont draw against sheff utd but they wont beat us either

as long as utd beat chelsea and we beat utd, then we've got the lead cos the only teams i see them losing to are us, each other and possibly arsenal, i don't think any other team has a chance against any of them.

as 1 or 2 have said it is the first game of the season so hang on and don't panic
chelsh*te have got to play the likes of sheff.utd-a game like that is like a cup final to them and we all know the results a cup final can throw-up so as rushie said lets not panic and wait and see what the score is after 7 or 8 games have gone by
its the same with man-ure
one or two of the better teams had a shock as well
so dont worry 1 game 1 draw no probs at least we did not lose
