I was torn between Torres and Mascherano but in fairness I have to say Masch let himself and the team down badly against the mancs and that one blemish sways me to Torres. An almost faultless season which I think he could not have expected himself.

Strange mixture who would have thought that Voronin would be level with Pepe & Dirk & Sammy Hyppia also after the season Risse has had I think there is a sympathy vote for JAR or how the heck does he come in at 4th.Incredible....

Gotta be Liverpools Number 9! What a goal tally for his first season in a foreign country 

Especially when many people were doubting his ability to score 20 goals a season!
