Hereenveen winger Danijel Pranjic has admitted he would not be able to turn down a move to Liverpool.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez has been linked with the Croatian international as he looks to bolster his squad for next season.

Pranjic has enjoyed a fine season with Heerenveen, scoring 16 goals and helping them win the Dutch Cup for the first time in their history.

The 27-year-old admits he would favour a move to Spain above England but concedes he could not ignore Liverpool if they came calling this summer.

"For me it is really, really incredible if I imagine I can play for Liverpool," Pranjic told Sky Sports News.

"It is a dream for every player, it is the biggest club in England.

"I am very fast, I can run a lot and I think that is what you need in England.

"If I can choose between England or maybe Spain, I would choose Spain because I like that kind of football, that kind of life.

"I like good weather and in England it is always raining and that is what I don't like about England.

"But if Liverpool come for me of course i cannot say no"

What's the point in signing Pranjic?  Riera is a better winger, as is Babel (when he plays with a bit of confidence, which seems shot at the moment), Insua and Aurelio are both better left backs.  I hope we don't pursue this pointless signing.  Quite frankly, I'd rather blow the transfer kitty on Tevez or Lavezzi.

 The only time he should be signed is on Football Manager, i dont think he will make any impact on the current Squad!

Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign Croatia international Danijel Pranjic from Heerenveen.

The 27-year-old midfielder, who can also play at left wingback, was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool last month and admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to move to Anfield.

However, it is believed Bayern have now tied up a €10 million (£8.7m) deal for Pranjic and the player says he is delighted with the switch.

“I can say that I am overjoyed,” he said. “It is a great club.

“I will do all I can to justify the faith of [Bayern coach] Louis van Gaal.”

Reports suggest the transfer could end any potential move for Barcelona's Alexander Hleb.

Since he signed for Bayern there is nothing to discuss now.

For the moment it's confirmed as "imminent" on the official Bayern site, but they haven't concluded terms with his current club.

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Danijel Pranjic.

The 27-year-old Croatian international has penned a three-year deal with the German giants after they agreed a deal with Heerenveen.

It is understood that Bayern have paid around €7million for the services of Pranjic - who can player anywhere down the left-hand side.

Pranjic, who was a target for Liverpool, has expressed his delight at finalizing his move.

"This is like a dream come true," Pranjic told Bayern's website.

"Bayern Munich are one of the best clubs in Europe.

"They're in the same category as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool."

Pranjic is the second Croat to join Bayern this summer after Ivica Olic completed a Bosman transfer to the Allianz Arena.
