Pity they don't hand out any trophies being ranked first.

I'd rather be ranked 7th and have won the thing personally.

It's nice to be the under dog behind the likes of Barca, Chelsea and AC Milan and then go on to win the CL but to be seeded as 1st behind these great clubs is pretty amazing too and should serve as a warning to our challangers!

Totally agree Bootle Buck but when your going through transission organised by a couple of monkeys (G+H)  then you clutch at straws for a while !

Despite the millions above millions all the other big guns spend more than us, we are still number 1. Goes to show that heart will most of the time win out against talent if you have a decent squad.

That news will make the CL cup taste somewhat bitter for the Mancs seeing we are number 1.

Seeded 1 though eh? You look at the squads and ask yourself, 'How?'. Rafa is how!

Liverpool are officially the best team in Europe. The Anfield club top the official Uefa rankings that are based on European performances over the last five years.
