Riera and dossena as left winger, promote babel upfront. it solves our backup problem for nando too since keane has left

Great for the lad, but he still has a lot to learn about Our game. Should give Him the confidence to finish the season strongly. Hopefully it is just a case of him needing time but I was amazed at  how easily people were making him look stupid considering he is playing for Italy regularly.

You got to hand it to Rafa, he had us all going when he said he signed a left-back!

With Riera struggling and Babel still inconsistent I think Dossena can really challenge for the left-wing position and these goals would have done wonders for his confidence.

Dossena has been excellent when he's come on in the last two matches. In all honesty, all of our fringe players have come through and it looks like that word DEPTH is starting to take form in the Liverpool dressing room

Still dont think he got the credit he deserved for that goal. On the volley over Van der sar who his about 9ft from the edge of the area. Agree we should let him and Aurelio  play down the left as Riera has started to loose the ball too much for me.

Agreed mate, think he must have been getting some tips off Xabi in training.

Those 2 goals have bought him time havent they!! Dont trust him at full back but wont mind seeing him start of come on left midfield thats for sure

For whatever I have called Andrea in the past, I am extremely sorry.
Your still a bit shakey at left back, but without doubt look a revelation further up the field.
And also pretty cool in front of goal.

All in all The Doss is Boss!!

There's no need to put him anywhere near left back while Aurelio and Insua are available.

Play him in a more advanced role and give Riera and Babel something to think about.

I fairly had a crack at Dossena earlier this season when he was 'attempting' to play at left back and I stand right behind that.  He isn't up to the job at left back which he was purchased for.  He's done well in grabbing two goals but it's one thing to come on the pitch when a game is already won and a different thing being there from the first whistle.

Even against Real his first touch landed him a yellow card.

He can put a decent cross in and is getting an opportunity only because Riera has dipped in form.

I'm pleased for any Liverpool player who does well but lets not kid ourselves that this fella is a world beater.  He's never going to be a starting XI player for us.

However he has my permission to carry on coming off the bench and slotting a goal home.

I am made up for him even though i have slated him alot,i think he is alot better attacking than defending and by the last few performances he has got a good eye for goal.
He makes inteligent runs and is alot quicker than i previously thought.WELL DONE DOSSENA KEEP IT UP.

If the guy plays for Italy he must be good. I think we expect too much from foreign players in their first season.I know Torres was an exception but maybe he just needed time to settle in get a few decent performances going and gain some confidence. It would make it interesting with him and Aurelio playing together.I know this day and age everyone has their right to criticise but I like to give them the benefit of the doubt whilst wearing a red shirt.

This guy should be playing at the left wing and not at the left back...at the wing is where he is getting results..keep it up Doss.

Humble pie  time  I thought the guy was murder a few months ago and to be fare his performances left a lot to be desired ,but he said hes worked extra hard at training to get to a higher standard that he feels hes got to attain to get and keep a place in our team so well done to him ,me I will just shut my face and let players settle in first ,to be honest he gets better every time I see him .
